PAPER AND BOARD COMPANY (LVIV) HAS 47% RISE IN NET PROFIT

Private joint-stock company Paper and Board Company (Lviv) tentatively saw UAH 29.7 million of net profit in 2017, which is 47.4% more than in 2016.
According to the agenda of a general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 20, undistributed profit reached UAH 81.19 million as of January 1, 2018 (UAH 53.02 million a year ago).
According to a draft resolution of the general meeting, it is planned to send profit to develop the company.
According to the report, last year the company saw a 43.4% rise in current liabilities, to UAH 71.85 million, and noncurrent liabilities grew by 45%, to UAH 75.36 million.
Total bills receivable grew by 28.5%, to almost UAH 40 million, and assets rose by 36.7%, to UAH 273.2 million.
Net worth was almost UAH 126 million as of early 2018. The charter capital did not change, being UAH 570,000.
Paper and Board Company (until 2011 Lvivkartonoplast) was established in 1946 on the basis of production facilities of a small mechanical plant.
Currently it produces goods and semi-finished products from recycled cardboard (sheets of cardboard) and cellulose paper (toilet paper, towels, napkins).
According to the UkrPapir association, in 2017, the company saw a 24.7% rise in production, to UAH 483.4 million. Paper production rose by 34.4%, to 5,350 tonnes and cardboard output – by 10.5%, to 24,400 tonnes.
