Prices for construction and installation work in Ukraine rose by 21.8% in May 2026 compared to May 2025, according to the State Statistics Service (Derzhstat).
According to the statistical agency, in May 2026, compared to May 2025, prices rose across all segments of construction: in residential construction—by 18.7% (up 1.9% from the previous month), in nonresidential construction—by 22.8% (1.9%), and in civil engineering—by 22.4% (1.9%).
In January–May of this year, compared to the same period last year, prices for construction materials and equipment rose by 14.3%, specifically in the residential sector by 12.6%, in the non-residential sector by 15%, and in civil engineering by 14.4%.
As reported, in 2025, prices for construction materials and equipment rose by 5.8% compared to the previous year; in 2024, they rose by 7.9%; and in 2023, by 15.8%.
