Prices for construction and installation work in Ukraine rose by 23.1% in June 2026 compared to June of last year, according to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. Growth was recorded in all major segments of construction. Residential construction rose by 19.2% year-over-year, nonresidential construction by 23.8%, and civil engineering structures by 24.3%.
In June alone, compared to May, the cost of construction and installation work increased by 0.8% in residential construction, by 1.3% in non-residential construction, and by 1.8% in civil engineering. Thus, work related to infrastructure projects is currently rising in price the fastest.
In January–June 2026, prices for construction and installation work were, on average, 15.8% higher than during the same period last year. In the residential segment, the increase was 13.7%; in the non-residential segment, 16.5%; and in civil engineering, 16.1%.
The current growth rate is significantly higher than last year’s. For the full year 2025, construction and installation work prices rose by 5.8%; in 2024, by 7.9%; and in 2023, by 15.8%.
Thus, the annual rate of price growth in June is approximately four times higher than the growth rate of construction and installation costs for the full year of 2025, although a direct comparison of the monthly annual rate with the full-year result should be viewed as an indicator of acceleration rather than as identical statistical values.
The acceleration in construction cost growth is significant not only for the real estate development market but also for Ukraine’s recovery. If this trend continues, previously established budgets for the construction, repair, and reconstruction of facilities may need to be revised upward.

Prices for construction and installation work in Ukraine rose by 21.8% in May 2026 compared to May 2025, according to the State Statistics Service (Derzhstat).
According to the statistical agency, in May 2026, compared to May 2025, prices rose across all segments of construction: in residential construction—by 18.7% (up 1.9% from the previous month), in nonresidential construction—by 22.8% (1.9%), and in civil engineering—by 22.4% (1.9%).
In January–May of this year, compared to the same period last year, prices for construction materials and equipment rose by 14.3%, specifically in the residential sector by 12.6%, in the non-residential sector by 15%, and in civil engineering by 14.4%.
As reported, in 2025, prices for construction materials and equipment rose by 5.8% compared to the previous year; in 2024, they rose by 7.9%; and in 2023, by 15.8%.
Kyivmiskbud has resumed construction work on 11 of 24 residential complexes and plans to commission six of them by the end of 2026, the company’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine
“Construction workers on-site and operating equipment are the best evidence of an effective resumption of operations,” noted Valeriy Zasutsky, the company’s CEO, during a joint on-site meeting between Kyivmiskbud management and members of the Kyiv City Council on Wednesday.
During their visit to the construction sites, the participants of the field meeting paid special attention to the organization of work on the installation of utility networks, as well as the performance of construction and finishing work.
As reported, Kyivmiskbud resumed construction work in March of this year on projects that were already at an advanced stage of completion. Currently, work has resumed on 11 of 24 residential complexes. The company expects to resume work on the “Apricot” residential complex this summer and on the “Akadem Park” residential complex this fall, while preparations are underway to resume construction of the “Otrada,” “Milos,” and “Lake House” residential complexes .
By the end of the year, the developer plans to commission six projects: the “Gvardeysky,” “Freedom,” “Raduzhny,” “Podol Grad,” and “Twin House” residential complexes, as well as the first building of the “Obereg-2” residential complex, which will provide housing for 3,775 families.
“Another 3,800 families will move into their own homes in 2027,” noted Zasutsky.
According to him, the company maintains regular direct communication with all investors in each individual residential complex and keeps them informed about the actual status of each project.
Kyivmiskbud Holding was established in 1994 based on the assets of the state-owned municipal construction corporation Kyivmiskbud by consolidating controlling stakes in 28 enterprises and other assets into its authorized capital. It comprises 40 joint-stock companies in which the company holds shares, as well as six subsidiaries and 51 enterprises with associate member status.
On October 31, 2024, the Kyiv City Council voted to recapitalize “Kyivmiskbud” by UAH 2.56 billion through the issuance and redemption of additional shares. On June 23, 2025, the company’s shareholders approved a resolution to increase the authorized capital by UAH 2.56 billion through the issuance of additional common registered shares. The company received this recapitalization in December 2025. The Kyiv territorial community was the sole participant in the share placement.
According to data from the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the Kyiv City Council is the main shareholder of PJSC “HC ‘Kyivmast’.”
The volume of construction work completed in Ukraine in January-August 2025 increased by 19.5% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching UAH 140.2 billion, according to data from the State Statistics Service (Gosstat).
According to the statistics agency, over the eight months of 2025, the volume of building construction increased by 30.9%, of which residential buildings increased by 16.4%, non-residential buildings by 38.7%, and engineering structures by 11.5%.
The share of new construction in the total volume of construction work performed in January-August was 42.8%, repairs – 30.1%, reconstruction and other work – 27.1%.
According to the State Statistics Service, in January-August this year, the construction output index reached 113.1% compared to the same period last year, with the indicator standing at 109.1% in residential construction, 130.7% in non-residential construction, and 105.7% in engineering construction.
In August, the construction output index reached 124.4% compared to last year’s figure, and 87.2% compared to July 2025.
According to seasonally adjusted data from the agency, the construction output indices in August 2025 in residential construction were 61.4%, in non-residential construction – 130.4%, in engineering construction – 125.5%, and taking into account the effect of calendar days, the figures are 62.1%, 131.4%, and 128.3%, respectively.
The State Statistics Service notes that the publication of the data was delayed due to martial law.
Prices for construction and installation work in Ukraine in August 2025 rose by 5.4% compared to August 2024, according to the State Statistics Service (SSS).
According to the statistics agency, in August 2025 compared to August 2024, prices increased in all segments of construction: in residential construction, the increase was 5.7%, in non-residential construction – 5.5%, and in engineering construction – 5.2%. At the same time, compared to July of this year, prices rose by 0.2%, 0.1%, and 0.6%, respectively.
In August 2025 to December 2024, prices for construction and installation works increased by 4%, while in the first eight months of 2025, construction prices increased by 6% compared to the same period a year earlier.
As reported, in 2024, prices for construction and installation works increased by 7.9% compared to the previous year, and in 2023, they rose by 15.8% compared to 2022.
The State Statistics Service indicated that the figures do not include temporarily occupied territories and parts of territories where hostilities are (were) ongoing.
The volume of construction work performed in Ukraine in January-June 2025 reached UAH 92 billion 997.6 million, which is 8.15% higher than in the first half of 2024, according to data from the State Statistics Service (SSS).
The statistics agency reported that in the first six months of 2025, the volume of construction of engineering structures decreased by 3.5% compared to the same period last year, to UAH 49.7331 billion, compared to UAH 51.5498 billion in the same period last year. At the same time, the volume of work performed in residential construction increased by 11% to UAH 13 billion 684.6 million, and in non-residential construction by 33.7% to UAH 29 billion 579.9 million.
The share of new construction in the total volume of construction work performed in January-June was 43.6%, repairs – 29.6%, reconstruction and other work – 26.8%.
According to the State Statistics Service, in the first half of this year, the construction output index reached 102.4% compared to January-June 2024.
According to seasonally adjusted data from the agency, construction output indices in June 2025 were 56.3% in residential construction, in non-residential construction – 137.5%, in engineering construction – 167.6%, and taking into account the effect of calendar days, the figures are 57.1%, 131.1% and 159.4%, respectively.
