Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has opened sales for the Abu Dhabi-Odesa flight, which will be launched in September, Director of Odesa International Airport Volodymyr Semenchenko has reported.
“There were companies that paused the approach to Odesa. The opening of a new runway will activate the process. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has already opened sales to Odesa since September,” Semenchenko said during the ceremony of opening the new runway.
According to him, the flights will be operated by Airbus 321neo aircraft.
“There are several more companies with which we have signed contracts, but it is too early to announce them,” the director said.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi low cost airline is based in the UAE and is a joint venture between state-owned ADQ and Hungary’s Wizz Air Holdings plc.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will operate from Abu Dhabi to Boryspil international airport (Kyiv region), the airport said on Saturday, July 3.
“The airline plans to operate flights with a frequency of once a week, every Saturday. The number of flights will increase during the summer. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi plans to operate three flights a week from the end of August, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays,” the airport said in the statement.
The flights will be operated on modern Airbus A321neo aircraft with ultra-low emissions, noise and fuel consumption. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s fleet consists of four such aircraft.
According to the flight booking service, from July 20 to July 31, the airline will add flights on Tuesdays. For August, the schedule includes flights once a week, on Thursdays, and from September the airline will increase the frequency of flights to three per week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and Intelmax have signed documents for opening a representative office of Intelmax Management Consulting (Abu Dhabi, the UAE) in Ukraine and cooperation on creating a platform for intellectual property exchange.
“Intelmax Management Consulting plans to open a representative office in Ukraine. A memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development and Intelmax during the visit of the president of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates,” Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the document also provides for the introduction of blockchain technologies into government processes and services.

It notes that within the framework of cooperation, the parties will also consider the possibility of introducing a national Ukrainian stablecoin based on the Fantom blockchain with targeting and distribution of social and business benefits.
