Cardboard and Paper Company LLC (Lviv), a major Ukrainian producer of cardboard tubes, produced products worth UAH 194 million in January-February 2024, down 3.7% year-on-year.
According to statistics provided to Interfax-Ukraine by UkrPapir Association, the company reduced its output of cardboard products by 13.8% in physical terms to 4.11 thousand tons, while it increased its production of paper base for sanitary products by 65% to 1.58 thousand tons. The production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 13.2 percent to 0.9 million units.
LLC Cardboard and Paper Company produces products and semi-finished products from waste cardboard (cardboard sheets, corners, sleeves), cellulose and recycled waste paper (toilet paper, towels, napkins under Papero brand). The company supplies its products, in particular, to the EU countries.
Among its customers are Biosphere, Arterium, Nestle, Khlibprom, Yarych confectionery, and Galychyna dairy company.
As reported, in 2023, the company increased its production by 7% compared to 2022, to UAH 1.27 billion.

According to UkrPapir Association statistics provided to Interfax-Ukraine, the company slightly reduced its output of cardboard products in physical terms to 26.4 thousand tons, while increasing its production of paper base for sanitary products by 12.6% to almost 8 thousand tons. Production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 49% to 6.1 million units.
At the same time, in December, the company reduced its paper and cardboard production by 35.5% compared to the same month in 2022, to 2 thousand tons, which is also almost 35% less than in November last year.

As reported, in 2022, the factory increased its commercial output by 51.5% compared to 2021, up to UAH 1 billion 186 million, without stopping work during the year. Net profit tripled to UAH 263.7 million.
LLC “Cardboard and Paper Company” (Lviv), a major Ukrainian manufacturer of cardboard sleeves and sanitary products, in January-July 2023 increased its output by 21.2% to UAH 746.83 million compared to the same period of 2022.
According to the statistical data provided to Interfax-Ukraine by UkrPapir Association, in physical terms the company increased the output of cardboard products by 2.6% to 15.7 thousand tons, and of base paper for sanitary-hygienic products by 4.1% to 4.3 thousand tons. The output of toilet paper in rolls increased by 42% to 3.3 million pieces.
At the same time in July the company increased the output of paper and cardboard by 4.3% compared to the same month last year – up to 3.3 thousand tons, which is also 30% more than in June this year.

According to the statistics of the UkrPapir Association, provided to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, in this way the company slightly accelerated the growth rate of this indicator compared to the same period last year (according to the results of the first half of the year, it was 42%).
In pack terms, the company increased the output of base paper for sanitary products by 10.8% to 4.14 thousand tons, while increasing the output of toilet paper in rolls by 46.6% to 2.35 million pieces.
The output of cardboard products decreased slightly (by 1%) – to 15.31 thousand tons.
As reported with reference to UkrPapir statistics, the factory continued to work all months from the beginning of the year, reducing the production of paper and cardboard in March (compared to March 2021), but in April it already switched to positive dynamics, which it maintained in the following months.

According to the statistics of the UkrPapir association provided to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, in natural terms, over this period, the company increased the production of paper – the basis for sanitary and hygienic products – by 16.1%, to 26.4 million tonnes, while increasing the production of toilet paper in rolls by 66.4% – to 1.8 million pieces.
At the same time, the output of cardboard products decreased by 4.8% – to 10.43 million tonnes.
According to the statistics of UkrPapir, the factory continued to work all months since the beginning of the year, reducing the production of paper and cardboard in March, but in April and May it already increased their production by 16.4% and 6.7%, respectively (compared to the same months last year).
