“Cherkasyoblenergo” has announced tender for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance with budget of 3.4 mln UAH

On April 9, PJSC ‘Cherkasyoblenergo’ announced a tender for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance for trolleybuses, according to the “Prozorro” electronic public procurement system .

As noted, the expected cost of purchasing insurance services is 3.364 million UAH.

The deadline for submitting bids is April 17.

The winner of a similar tender a year earlier was “UPSK.”

Cherkasyoblenergo convenes extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on March 5

According to Fixygen, Cherkasyoblenergo JSC (Cherkasy) will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on March 5, 2026, in a remote format (poll), according to a notice in the information disclosure system.

According to the document, the list of shareholders eligible to participate will be compiled on March 2, 2026 (as of 23:00). Ballot voting will take place from 11:00 on February 23 to 18:00 on March 5. The ballot on issues other than the election of bodies is planned to be posted on February 23, and on the election of candidates – on February 27.

The agenda includes the termination of the powers of the current members of the supervisory board, the election of new members, the approval of the terms of contracts with members of the supervisory board and their remuneration, as well as compensation to JSC Ukrainian Distribution Networks for the costs of organizing and holding the meeting.

The meeting was initiated by Ukrainian Distribution Networks JSC (which owns 46% of the voting ordinary shares) and UkrESKO JSC (25%), which together control more than 50% of the votes.

Cherkasyoblenergo JSC (EDRPOU 22800735) is the operator of the electricity distribution system in the Cherkasy region. The company operates under a license from the NEURC for electricity distribution (Resolution No. 1447 of 16 November 2018). According to OpenDataBot, the company’s revenue in 2024 amounted to UAH 3.84 billion, with a net financial result of a loss of UAH 119.46 million.

Cherkasyoblenergo to hold extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on February 27

Cherkasyoblenergo JSC will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on February 27, 2026, remotely in the form of a survey, according to a notice in the information disclosure system.

As stated in the announcement, the list of shareholders eligible to participate will be compiled on February 24 (at 23:00). Voting by ballot will take place from 11:00 on February 17 to 18:00 on February 27; the ballot on issues other than the election of bodies is planned to be posted on February 17, and on the election of candidates – on February 23.

The agenda includes the termination of the powers of the members of the supervisory board, the election of a new composition, the approval of the terms of contracts with members of the supervisory board and the amount of their remuneration, as well as compensation for the costs of organizing the meeting.

Cherkasyoblenergo JSC is the operator of the electricity distribution system in the Cherkasy region; Ukrainian Energy Saving Service Company (UkrESCO) owns 25% of the shares, and Ukrainian Distribution Networks owns 46%.

“Cherkasyoblenergo has allocated more than UAH 140 mln to support Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

PJSC Cherkasyoblenergo has allocated UAH 142 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

“UAH 120 million is direct assistance to military units, another UAH 22 million are payments to employees defending Ukraine as part of the AFU,” the company said in a press release on Thursday.

It is specified that the total amount of assistance for 700 days of the big war is more than 20 cars, 3 pickup trucks, more than 20 quadrocycles, almost 50 quadrocopters, more than 70 thermal imagers, 18 thermal sights, 20 optical devices, more than 60 gasoline and diesel generators, chainsaws, intercom radios, solar panels, kamikaze drones, equipment, medical drugs and devices and other necessary things.

In addition, the company also makes monthly payments of 10 thousand UAH of material aid to 156 employees of the company who defend Ukraine as part of the AFU. In 2023, the company paid a total of about 22m hryvnias of such assistance.

“Cherkasyoblenergo” repaired almost 500 km of overhead lines

PJSC “Cherkassyoblenergo” in the first half of 2023 in preparation for the fall-winter period repaired more than 430 overhead power lines 0,4-20 kW and 35-154 kV, as well as 96 transformer substations, the press service reported.

As noted in its release on Thursday, in addition, 64 6-20 kV transformers have been repaired and put in proper condition, 187 damaged cable lines with voltage above 1,000 V have been restored, and about 1,800 km of overhead lines have been cleared.

“Currently, all planned tasks are performed in a timely manner and in full, so tentatively the work will be completed before the start of the heating season,” commented Oleg Samchuk, Chairman of the Board of PJSC PJSC, whose words are quoted in the release.

The press service added that the accumulation of emergency stocks of materials and equipment continues.

Commercial Court of Cherkasy region returned to the ownership of “Cherkassyoblenergo” 2 HPPs

The Economic Court of Cherkasy region in a full decision dated February 20, 2023 granted the claim of PJSC Cherkasyoblenergo to invalidate the purchase and sale contracts of Steblevskaya and Korsun-Shevchenko HPPs between the company and the foreign economic association Novosvit in 2015.

“The property complexes of Steblevskaya HPP and Korsun-Shevchenko HPP were alienated under the disputed contracts without holding an auction, without notifying the State Property Fund of Ukraine in order to conceal illegal transactions, which resulted in significant damage to PJSC Cherkasyoblenergo and the state”, – says the court decision.

As follows from the document, assessment of the property alienated under the disputed agreements to determine its market value, in violation of the requirements of the law “On Joint Stock Companies” and the charter of “Cherkassyoblenergo” was carried out without decision of the Supervisory Board of the company to involve a subject of evaluation activities, without approval of the terms of the contract with him and establishing the amount of his services payment, as well as approval of the market value of property.

“As a result of illegal appraisal of the property of the Stebleva HPP and the Korsun-Shevchenko HPP as integral property complexes, the acting Chairman of the Company’s Board S.A. Kuzminska, who concluded the disputable contracts on behalf of Cherkasyloblenergo, artificially underestimated the market value of these two HPPs in order to avoid the prohibition, provided by the PJSC Charter, for her own decision on transactions with property with a market value of over 5% of the company assets”, the court decision says.

According to the document, the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine is currently conducting a pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings on the embezzlement of property of Cherkasyoblenergo on a particularly large scale, during which the conclusion on November 6, 2015 between Cherkasyoblenergo represented by S.A. Kuzminskaya and the foreign economic association Novosvit in violation of the requirements of current legislation and the charter of the PJSC.

According to the lawyer of the company “Tsypin and Partners” Marina Sutkovych, who represented the interests of “Cherkassyoblenergo” in court, the total amount of losses of the company as a result of the purchase and sale of two hydroelectric power plants amounted to 139,5 million UAH.

At the beginning of 2022, 46% of Cherkassyoblenergo shares were transferred from the State Property Fund to the Ministry of Energy. Another 25% of shares are managed by Ukrainian Energy Saving Service Company PJSC (UkrEsco).
