KYIV CITY CLINICAL ONCOLOGY CENTER MAKES APTEKA PROJECT

The Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Center plans to launch the Apteka project for automated dilution of drugs for chemotherapy in 2022, acting director of the center Oleksandr Kliusov has said.
“This is a project of the Department of Health of Kyiv City State Administration. The essence of the project is to automate the process of dilution of drugs for chemotherapy. I hope that the project will start working within the next few months,” he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
Kliusov said that equipment has already been delivered to the clinic for the implementation of the project: three robotic cytoboxes, in which the robot dispenses ready-made forms of chemotherapy drugs.
Investments in the project amounted to about UAH 50 million.
