UKRAINE RAISES COPPER EXPORT BY 3.3 TIMES IN H1

Ukrainian enterprises in January-June of this year increased imports of copper and copper products in monetary terms by 75.1% compared to the same period last year, to $79.083 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, exports of copper and copper products in the first half of the year increased 3.3 times compared to January-June 2020, to $108.769 million.
In June, copper and copper products were imported for $14.675 million, and exported – for $20.395 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-June 2021 increased imports of nickel and nickel products by 58.3% compared to the same period in 2020, to $58.214 million (in June – $15.928 million), and aluminum and aluminum products by 14.4%, to $205.891 million ($38.258 million). At the same time, it increased imports of lead and lead products by 88%, to $4.855 million ($0.025 million), increased imports of tin and tin products by 47.7%, to $1.566 million ($196,000), and also increased imports of zinc and zinc products by 90.4%, to $42.594 million ($7.030 million).
Exports of aluminum and aluminum products in the first half of 2021 increased by 57.2% compared to the same period in 2020, to $76.632 million (in June – $15.138 million), lead and lead products by 61.7%, to $17.377 million ($3.333 million), and nickel and nickel products by 80.7%, to $2.391 million ($0.426 million).
Zinc exports in January-June 2021 amounted to $48,000 (in June – $31,000), while in January-June 2020 they amounted to $21,000. Exports of tin and tin products in January-June 2021 amounted to $14,000 (in June – $3,000) versus $82,000 in the first half of 2020.

UKRAINE TRIPLES COPPER EXPORT

Ukrainian enterprises in January-May this year increased imports of copper and copper products in value terms by 80.3% compared to the same period last year, to $64.408 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine on Wednesday, exports of copper and copper products over the first five months of the year increased by 3.1 times, to $88.374 million.
In May, copper and copper products were imported for $14.212 million, and exported – for $20.323 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-May 2021 increased imports of nickel and nickel products by 34.3% compared to the same period in 2020, to $42.286 million (in May – $9.536 million), and aluminum and aluminum products by 13.6%, to $167.566 million ($37.505 million). At the same time, it increased imports of lead and lead products by 2.9 times, to $4.830 million ($227,000), tin and tin products – by 58.1%, to $1.369 million ($224,000), and zinc and zinc products – by 98.8%, to $35.565 million ($7.426 million).
Exports of aluminum and aluminum products in January-May 2021 increased by 52.7% compared to January-May 2020, to $61.494 million (in May – $11.943 million), lead and lead products by 57.9% – to $14.044 million ($1.684 million), and nickel and products – by 52.2%, to $1.966 million ($599,000).
Zinc exports in January-May 2021 amounted to $17,000 (there was no export in May), while in January-May 2020 they amounted to $21,000. Exports of tin and tin products in January-May 2020 amounted to $11,000 (in May – $3,000), while in January-May 2020 – $48,000.

UKRAINE INCREASES COPPER EXPORTS BY 3 TIMES IN JAN-APRIL

Ukrainian enterprises in January-April this year increased the import of copper and copper products by 68% compared to the same period last year, to $50.196 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, the export of copper and copper products in the first four months of the year tripled, to $68.051 million.
In April, copper and copper products were imported for $14.532 million, exported – for $21.201 million.

UKRAINE CUTS COPPER IMPORT BY 9%, EXPORT BY 7.6%

Ukrainian enterprises reduced the import of copper and copper products in value terms by 9% to $93.276 million in January-October this year compared to the same period last year.
According to customs statistics published by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased 7.6% to $63.017 million in the first 10 months of 2020.
In October, copper and copper products were imported in the tune of $11.915 million, and exported in the tune of $7.934 million.

UKRAINE CUTS COPPER IMPORT

Ukrainian enterprises reduced the import of copper and copper products in value terms by 7.4% in January-September 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, to $81.317 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased 12.7%, to $55.083 million in the first nine months of 2020.
In September, copper and copper products were imported in the tune of $10.739 million, exported to the tune of $7.397 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-September reduced the import of nickel and nickel products by 11.8% compared to the same period in 2019, to $55.25 million (in September amounted to $8.149 million), aluminum and aluminum products by 4.3%, to $283.561 million ($34.997 million). At the same time, the import of lead and lead products decreased 42.7%, to $6.05 million ($1.691 million), tin and tin products decreased 39.8%, to $1.713 million ($292,000), zinc and zinc products decreased by 33.6%, to $37.289 million ($5.795 million).
In January-September 2020, export of aluminum and aluminum products increased 0.1% compared with January-September 2019, to $77.049 million (in September amounted to $10.303 million), lead and lead products fell by 6.1%, to $18.007 million ($2.782 million), nickel and nickel products decreased by 49.3%, to $1.966 million ($296,000). Zinc exports in January-September 2020 amounted to $68,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $463,000 ($12,000 in September). The export of tin and tin products in January-September 2020 amounted to $92,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $33,000 (the export amounted to $3,000 in September).

UKRAINE CUTS COPPER EXPORT BY 18%

Ukrainian enterprises reduced the import of copper and copper products in value terms by 6.1% in January-August 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, to $70.577 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased 18.1%, to $47.687 million in the first eight months of 2020.
In August, copper and copper products were imported in the tune of $12.224 million, exported to the tune of $7.759 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-August reduced the import of nickel and nickel products by 19.2% compared to the same period in 2019, to $47.1 million (in August amounted to $4.321 million), aluminum and aluminum products by 5%, to $248.561 million ($37.751 million). At the same time, the import of lead and lead products decreased 51.1%, to $4.358 million ($779,000), tin and tin products decreased 39.6%, to $1.421 million ($107,000), zinc and zinc products decreased by 35.6%, to $31.493 million ($3.791 million).
In January-August 2020, export of aluminum and aluminum products decreased 4.2% compared with January-August 2019, to $66.746 million (in August amounted to $8.302 million), lead and lead products fell by 9.6%, to $15.225 million ($2.256 million), nickel and nickel products decreased by 52%, to $1.67 million ($147,000). Zinc exports in January-August 2020 amounted to $56,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $416,000 (in August no zinc was exported). The export of tin and tin products in January-August 2020 amounted to $90,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $30,000 (the export amounted to $6,000 in August).
