Ukrainian enterprises in January-April this year increased the import of copper and copper products by 68% compared to the same period last year, to $50.196 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, the export of copper and copper products in the first four months of the year tripled, to $68.051 million.
In April, copper and copper products were imported for $14.532 million, exported – for $21.201 million.
Ukrainian enterprises reduced the import of copper and copper products in value terms by 9% to $93.276 million in January-October this year compared to the same period last year.
According to customs statistics published by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased 7.6% to $63.017 million in the first 10 months of 2020.
In October, copper and copper products were imported in the tune of $11.915 million, and exported in the tune of $7.934 million.
Ukrainian enterprises reduced the import of copper and copper products in value terms by 7.4% in January-September 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, to $81.317 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased 12.7%, to $55.083 million in the first nine months of 2020.
In September, copper and copper products were imported in the tune of $10.739 million, exported to the tune of $7.397 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-September reduced the import of nickel and nickel products by 11.8% compared to the same period in 2019, to $55.25 million (in September amounted to $8.149 million), aluminum and aluminum products by 4.3%, to $283.561 million ($34.997 million). At the same time, the import of lead and lead products decreased 42.7%, to $6.05 million ($1.691 million), tin and tin products decreased 39.8%, to $1.713 million ($292,000), zinc and zinc products decreased by 33.6%, to $37.289 million ($5.795 million).
In January-September 2020, export of aluminum and aluminum products increased 0.1% compared with January-September 2019, to $77.049 million (in September amounted to $10.303 million), lead and lead products fell by 6.1%, to $18.007 million ($2.782 million), nickel and nickel products decreased by 49.3%, to $1.966 million ($296,000). Zinc exports in January-September 2020 amounted to $68,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $463,000 ($12,000 in September). The export of tin and tin products in January-September 2020 amounted to $92,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $33,000 (the export amounted to $3,000 in September).
Ukrainian enterprises reduced the import of copper and copper products in value terms by 6.1% in January-August 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, to $70.577 million.
According to customs statistics released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased 18.1%, to $47.687 million in the first eight months of 2020.
In August, copper and copper products were imported in the tune of $12.224 million, exported to the tune of $7.759 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-August reduced the import of nickel and nickel products by 19.2% compared to the same period in 2019, to $47.1 million (in August amounted to $4.321 million), aluminum and aluminum products by 5%, to $248.561 million ($37.751 million). At the same time, the import of lead and lead products decreased 51.1%, to $4.358 million ($779,000), tin and tin products decreased 39.6%, to $1.421 million ($107,000), zinc and zinc products decreased by 35.6%, to $31.493 million ($3.791 million).
In January-August 2020, export of aluminum and aluminum products decreased 4.2% compared with January-August 2019, to $66.746 million (in August amounted to $8.302 million), lead and lead products fell by 9.6%, to $15.225 million ($2.256 million), nickel and nickel products decreased by 52%, to $1.67 million ($147,000). Zinc exports in January-August 2020 amounted to $56,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $416,000 (in August no zinc was exported). The export of tin and tin products in January-August 2020 amounted to $90,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $30,000 (the export amounted to $6,000 in August).

According to customs statistics, released by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export of copper and copper products decreased by 15.9%, to $9.814 million in the first two months of 2020.
In February, copper and copper products were imported to the tune of $8.450 million, exported to the tune of $5.895 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January and February of 2020 reduced the import of nickel and nickel products by 11.3% compared to the same month of 2019, to $14.008 million (in February amounted to $6.034 million), but increased the import of aluminum and aluminum products by 13.7%, to $57.714 million ($30.315 million). At the same time, the import of lead and lead products decreased by 60.6%, to $896,000 ($364,000), while tin and tin products grew by 24.5%, to $447,000 ($295,000), zinc and zinc products rose by 4.3%, to $7.562 million ($3.331 million).
In January and February of 2020, exports of aluminum and aluminum products increased by 11.9%, compared to the same period of 2019, to $16.839 million (in February amounted to $9.679 million), lead and lead products increased by 73.7%, to $5.179 million ($2.672 million), nickel and nickel products increased by 18.2%, to $480,000 ($320,000). Zinc exports in January and February of 2020 amounted to $11,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $86,000 (in February amounted to $8,000). The export of tin and tin products in January and February of 2020 amounted to $16,000, while in the same period of 2019 amounted to $15,000 (there was no export in February).
