Kokhava Paper Mill accelerates production growth rate to 45%

In January-May 2024, Kokhava Paper Mill (KBF, Lviv region), which produces sanitary paper products, increased its production by 45.1% year-on-year to UAH 678.9 million, according to statistics from Ukrpapir Association.

Earlier, in the first four months of the year, the company’s production growth rate was 38.2% compared to the same period in 2023.

According to the data provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms, the production of the base paper for sanitary products increased by 27% to 22.1 thousand tons.

Production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 4.6% to 58.2 million units. KBF is confidently ranked second in terms of its output after Kyiv pulp and paper mill.

As reported, in October last year, Kokhava Pulp and Paper Mill put into operation a paper machine for the production of pulp base paper (previously, it produced only waste paper-based products). To organize such production in 2021, the CF raised EUR 13.8 million in a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Operating since 1939, the Kokhavynske Paper Mill produces base paper for sanitary and hygiene products, as well as toilet paper and paper towels. Before the new machine was put into operation, the mill had two paper machines with a total capacity of 40 thousand tons of base paper per year.

In 2023, the factory increased its production by 18% compared to 2022, to UAH 1 billion 151.2 million, and its net profit increased 2.7 times to UAH 137 million.

Kokhava Paper Mill to pay UAH 6.85 mln in dividends for 2023

In the period from June 17 to October 24 this year, the shareholders of Kokhavynska Paper Mill JSC (KPM, Lviv region) will be paid dividends for 2023 totaling UAH 6.852 million out of the net profit of UAH 137.043 million.

According to the company’s publication in the disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC), the relevant decision was made by the general meeting of shareholders on April 25.

Dividends will be paid in the amount of UAH 2.41 per share with a par value of UAH 0.25.

According to the NSSMC data for the first quarter of 2024, almost 12% of the company’s authorized capital belongs to the chairman of the supervisory board Mykhailo Tytykalo, his daughter and member of the SB Larysa Tytykalo – 8.49%, his granddaughter Maria Goryanskaya – 10%, Tamara Tytykalo – 15.5%, members of the Supervisory Board Oleksandr Teletkov, Igor Kostyrko and Roman Pirig – more than 11.12% and 11.92% and 7.88%, respectively, and Oksana Serembytska – 7.88%.

The authorized capital of the company is UAH 711.83 million, divided into 2 million 847 thousand 328 shares.

Kokhava Paper Mill accelerates production growth to 23% in 3 months

In January-March 2024, Kokhava Paper Mill (KPM, Lviv region), which produces sanitary paper products, increased its production by 23% year-on-year to UAH 343 million, according to statistics from Ukrpapir Association.
Earlier it was reported that in January-February, the mill increased this figure by 12.8% compared to the same period in 2023.
According to the data provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms, the production of the base paper for sanitary products increased by 16.4% to 12 thousand tons.
Production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 12.5% to 37.7 million units. KBF is confidently ranked second in terms of its output after Kyiv pulp and paper mill.
As reported, in October last year, Kokhava Pulp and Paper Mill put into operation a paper machine for the production of pulp base paper (previously, it produced only waste paper-based products). To organize such production in 2021, the CF attracted a EUR 13.8 million loan from the EBRD.

Kokhava Paper Mill to allocate UAH 6.85 mln of its UAH 137 mln profit for dividends

The shareholders of Kokhava Paper Mill JSC (KBF, Lviv region) will receive UAH 6.852 million in dividends for 2023 out of the net profit of UAH 137.043 million at the rate of UAH 2.41 per share of UAH 0.25.

The relevant information is contained in the agenda of the general meeting of shareholders of the company scheduled for April 25, published in the disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC).

According to the draft decision of the meeting, the remaining UAH 130.19 million of net profit is planned to be left undistributed.

The authorized capital of the company is UAH 711.83 million, divided into 2 million 847 thousand 328 shares.

According to the NSSMC for the third quarter of 2023, almost 12% of the company’s authorized capital belongs to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mykhailo Tytykalo, his daughter and SB member Larysa Tytykalo – 8.49%, his granddaughter Maria Goryanska – 10%, Tamara Tytykalo – 15.5%, Supervisory Board members Oleksandr Telyatkov, Ihor Kostyrko and Roman Pirig – over 11.12%, 11.92% and 7.88%, respectively, and Oksana Serembytska – 7.88%.

The meeting plans to elect for a new three-year term the Supervisory Board chaired by Mykhailo Tytykalo and consisting of Larysa Tytykalo, Ihor Kostyrko, Oleksandr Telyatkov and Roman Pirig.

The Kokhavynka Paper Mill, which has been operating since 1939, produces base paper for sanitary and hygiene products, as well as waste toilet paper and paper towels under the Kokhavynka brand. In 2023, after the commissioning of a new paper machine, the company started producing cellulose sanitary products under the Kokhavynka Paper Mill and Mildi brands.
