KYIVSKY CARDBOARD MILL RAISES UP PRODUCTION BY 42%

The volume of commercial output of Kyivsky cardboard paper mill (Obukhiv, Kyiv region), the leader in the pulp and paper industry in sales, grew by 42.4% in January compared to the same month in 2021, to UAH 668 .31 million.
According to the statistics of the UkrPapir association, provided to Interfax-Ukraine, at the same time, in kind, only the production of base paper for sanitary and hygienic products showed a slight increase (by 1%), to 7,570 tonnes.
The mill reduced the production of corrugated packaging by 7.5%, to 15.65 million square meters, cardboard – by 6.4%, to 17,830 tonnes (including container increased by 2.8% to 12,130 tonnes, boxboard reduced by 21.3% – to 5,700 tonnes.
Production of toilet paper in rolls fell by 8.2% to 33.19 million pieces.
According to the association, in general, enterprises of the industry in January 2021 increased the production of corrugated packaging by 3.5%, to 48 million square meters, paper and cardboard were reduced by 4.6%, to 64,000 tonnes, toilet paper production in rolls was reduced by 8.5%, to 54.65 million pieces.
Kyivsky cardboard paper mill is one of the largest enterprises in Europe for the production of cardboard and paper products with a staff of about 2,200 people. Products are sold to almost 700 companies in Ukraine, a number of CIS countries and far abroad.
As reported, the mill intends to invest up to EUR 20 million in the development of a new industrial site in Verkhniodniprovsk (Dnipropetrovsk region) for the production of corrugated products.

KYIVSKY CARDBOARD MILL KEEPS SLIGHT GROWTH IN PRODUCTION IN 2020

The volume of marketable output of Kyivsky cardboard paper mill (Obukhiv, Kyiv region), a leader in Ukraine’s pulp and paper industry in terms of production and sales, totaled UAH 4.672 billion in January-October 2020, which is 0.7% more than the same figure in January-October 2019.
According to the statistics of the Ukrpapir association, in kind in January-October the plant slightly (by 0.9%) increased production of corrugated packaging, to 196.36 million square meters, being still second in terms of its production in the country after Rubizhne plant (together with Trypilsky packaging plant).
The rate of growth in the production of base paper for sanitary and hygienic products grew by almost 4.5%, to 71,600 tonnes, and production of toilet paper in rolls slowed down by 0.3%, to 370.75 million units.
Output of cardboard increased 3.5%, to 172,840 tonnes, in particular production of boxboard increased by 26.3%, to 57,230 tonnes, while package cardboard (including paper for corrugation) decreased 5%, to 115,630 tonnes.

KYIVSKY CARDBOARD MILL SEES SLIGHT RISE IN PRODUCTION

Kyivsky cardboard paper mill (Obukhiv, Kyiv region), a leader in Ukraine’s pulp and paper industry in terms of production and sales, saw a 1.8% rise in production of goods in money terms in January-September 2019 year-over-year, to UAH 4.139 billion, according to the Ukrpapir association.
Corrugated packaging output fell by 1.7%, to 172.64 million square meters, retaining the second highest result among producers of corrugated packaging in Ukraine after Rubizhne cardboard packaging mill in Luhansk region (with Trypilsky packaging plant).
Production of cardboard decreased 4%, to 149,170 tonnes. Production of package cardboard alone grew by 2.7%, to 108,590 tonnes, while box cardboard output fell by 18.5%, to 40,580 tonnes.
Production of base paper (for sanitary products) stood at 61,140 tonnes, which is 3.8% up year-over-year. Toilet paper output rose by 4.3%, to 330.4 million rolls.

KYIVSKY CARDBOARD MILL SEES 30% RISE IN PRODUCTION

Kyivsky cardboard paper mill (Obukhiv, Kyiv region), a leader in Ukraine’s pulp and paper industry in terms of production and sales, produced goods worth UAH 1.323 billion in the first quarter of 2018, which was 30.2% up year-over-year (y-o-y).
Thus, production in the first three months of 2018 somewhat slowed compared to the same period last year (production growth in January was 36% and that in January-February was 34.3%), the UkrPapir association said.
Corrugated packaging output grew by 18%, to 55.8 million square meters, which was the second highest result among producers of corrugated packaging in Ukraine after Rubizhne cardboard packaging mill in Luhansk region (with Trypilsky packaging plant).
Production of cardboard increased by 35%, to 55,800 tonnes. Production of package cardboard alone grew by 45.7%, to 35,840 tonnes, while box cardboard output rose by 18.7%, to almost 19,000 tonnes.
However, production of base paper (for sanitary products) stood at 18,380 tonnes, which was 1.7% down y-o-y. Toilet paper output grew by 8%, to 103.9 million rolls.
Corrugated packaging output in total in Ukraine (including other producers) grew by 12% January through March 2018, to 246.56 million square meters, that of paper and cardboard increased by 16.4%, to 234,230 tonnes.

In 2017, the mill saw a 14.8% rise in production from 2016, to UAH 4.850 billion.
