Ukrainian athletes won six medals on the eleventh day of the Deaflympic Games in Caxias do Sul (Brazil), the Ministry of Youth and Sports reported.
According to the press service of the ministry, at the XXIV Summer Deaflympics, the national deaflympics team of Ukraine on the eleventh day won 6 more awards – 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
In particular, Ukrainians won four awards in long-distance orienteering: Anna Fedoseeva and Alexander Sankin brought gold, Ruslan Nikolaenko and Anna Androsovich won silver and bronze, respectively.
The Ukrainian national team won two more awards in bullet shooting: Violeta Lykova won the gold medal in shooting from a small-caliber rifle from three positions, and Sergey Fomin won a bronze medal in high-speed shooting from a small-caliber pistol, 25 m.
Thus, Ukraine remains the absolute leader in the medal count with 116 awards, including 51 gold, 31 silver and 34 bronze medals.
Showman Volodymyr Zelensky continues to lead among presidential candidates, followed by incumbent President Petro Poroshenko and Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko. These are the results of a survey by the Sociological Group Rating conducted from March 22 to March 27.
According to the results of the poll released on Thursday, Zelensky leads with 20.6% support, followed by Tymoshenko with 13% and Poroshenko with 12.9%.
Among respondents who have decided on their preferred candidate and intend to vote, Zelensky leads with 26.6%, followed by Poroshenko and Tymoshenko, with 17% each.
The survey was conducted from March 22 to March 27, 2019. Some 3,000 Ukrainian citizens 18 and older participated in the survey in a face-to-face interview. The margin of error is not more than 1.8%.
Batkivschyna Party leader Yuliya Tymoshenko and Opposition Platform – For Life head Yuriy Boyko are the favorites among possible presidential candidates in Zaporizhia region, supported by 22.0% and 18.3% of the region’s residents who participated in a Sociological Group Rating survey. The poll was carried out from November 16 to December 2, 2018. Some 1,600 residents of the region were interviewed. The sample was formed taking into account the age and gender structure of the region, as well as the type of settlement. The margin of error of the survey does not exceed 2.4%.
Showman and Servant of the People Party leader Volodymyr Zelensky was supported by 14.1% respondents, followed by incumbent President Petro Poroshenko – 8.4%, Radical Party leader Oleh Lyashko – 7.5% and Ours Party leader Yevhen Murayev. Civil Position Party leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko was supported by 5.1% of persons who participated in the survey.
