German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said that dialogue between countries is always important, but now there are no platforms for communication with the Russian Federation.
“There should always be dialogue,” she said on Sunday in Berlin following an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers, answering a question.
According to her, NATO, as a transatlantic alliance, stands for a world order based, among other things, on dialogue. But at present, she claims, there are no platforms for communication with the Russian Federation. The last platform was the OSCE format.
Burbock believes that “even this last dialogue platform was liquidated by the Russian side.”
More than 45,000 Ukrainians since June 2020 have completed online training on the Microsoft platform to develop digital skills Microsoft Learn, ranking first with the highest indicator in Central and Eastern Europe, the press service of Microsoft in Ukraine said. The company notes that Microsoft Learn provides free training to improve digital skills, team productivity, and modernize the workplace by leveraging the power of the cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), Azure services, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics, and others.
Among the professions taught on the platform are software developer, sales representative, project manager, IT administrator, account manager, digital marketer, support employee, data analyst, financial analyst, graphic designer.
“Training allows specialists to gain experience and skills necessary for career growth or undergo retraining. After completing the course, a graduate can sign up for an exam and receive an international certificate,” Microsoft said.
Microsoft partnered with GitHub and LinkedIn in June 2020 to launch a global digital skills campaign to help people who have lost their jobs as a result of the economic crisis, as well as professionals looking to gain digital skills for digital jobs.
Around 60 companies and at least 30 think tanks have united to set up the Economic Recovery Center, on the base of which the National Economic Strategy 2030 will be developed, a co-founder of the center, Andriy Dlyhach, said.
“The Economic Recovery Center has become the government’s platform for the development of the economic strategy of Ukraine,” he said on Facebook, following a meeting of the top managers and owners of the largest Ukrainian companies with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko on August 14.
According to the information on the Center’s website, the platform brought together 30 Ukrainian think tanks and 60 business representatives. The think tanks include the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Advanter Group, Razumkov Center, Ukrainian Institute for the Future, Ukrainian Industry Expertise, and EasyBusiness.
The companies that have joined the platform include Allseeds, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, DTEK, Energomashspetsstal, Interpipe, Lemtrans, Metinvest, MHP, Naftogaz, SmartEnergy, Galicia, Tedis Ukraine, TIS, Nibulon, UkrLandFarming, UNIT, and Darnitsa.
Public discussions will start in September, first developments will be ready in October, the final document and a series of the government’s instructions, bills and state targeted programs for 2021 with the launch of financing will be presented in December, Dlyhach said.
