Ukraine’s national team played a 0-0 draw with Belgium in the third match of the 2024 European Football Championship.
In a parallel match, the national teams of Slovakia and Romania also played a draw 1:1.
Thus, all national teams scored four points, but Ukraine took the last place in the group on additional indicators – the worst goal difference.
Romania took the first place in the group, followed by Belgium and Slovakia. All of them will continue playing at the European Championship. Ukraine is eliminated from the tournament.
As reported, the first match Ukraine lost to Romania with a score of 0:3, and in the second – beat Slovakia with a score of 2:1.
The Ukrainian national team won 2-1 against Slovakia in the second match of the 2024 European Football Championship.
The Ukrainian team conceded in the first half on 17 minutes from Ivan Shrantz, but in the second half – on 54 minutes Mykola Shaparenko equalized the score after a shot by Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Roman Yaremchuk scored the winning goal on the 80th with a pass from Shaparenko.
As reported, Ukraine lost the first match to Romania with the score 0:3.
In the group stage of Euro 2024 Ukraine will play on June 26 with the national team of Belgium.

On Tuesday, March 26, after the decisive play-off matches of Euro-2024 qualification, the last three participants of the final part of the tournament were determined. They were the national teams of Ukraine, Georgia and Poland.
Georgia defeated Greece in a penalty shootout and will play for the first time in history at a big forum of national teams, Poland also defeated Wales in a series of 11-match penalty shootout, and Ukraine snatched a willful victory over Iceland.
Ukraine responded to a goal by Iceland’s Albert Gudmundsson after the break with goals by Viktor Tsygankov and Mykhailo Mudryk. The Ukrainians will meet Belgium, Slovakia and Romania at the European Championship.
The European Championship in 2024 will be hosted by Germany. It automatically got into Group A. Bundestim in the opening match of the tournament will meet Scotland in Munich.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated the Ukrainian national soccer team on its 2-1 victory against Iceland and qualification for the Euro 2024 Championship.
“Thank you, guys! Thank you, national team! For the most important emotions for the whole country. For the super important victory and exit to the Euro,” Zelensky wrote in Telegram on Wednesday night.
He noted that with this victory the Ukrainian national team “once again proved: when Ukrainians have a hard time, but they do not give up and continue to fight, then Ukrainians are sure to win.”
“In times when they want to destroy us every day, we prove every day: Ukrainians are and will be! Ukraine is and will be! Thank you for the victory!” – summarized the President.
The Ukraine-Iceland game was held in Wroclaw, Poland.
At the beginning of the game Ukraine had an advantage in possession of the ball, but the first half hour of the game ended with a goal by Iceland.
Ukraine restored parity in the 54th minute. Viktor Tsygankov struck the bottom corner of the goal – 1:1. The second goal was scored by Mykhailo Mudryk in the 84th minute.
The other two last two tickets to the final part of Euro 2024 were won by Georgia and Poland in penalty shootouts on Tuesday.
Ukraine will play its first match at the tournament in Munich on June 17 against Romania. The opponents in Group E will also be Slovakia and Belgium, with whom the Ukrainian team will play on June 21 and 26 in Düsseldorf and Stuttgart, respectively.
The Ukrainian national soccer team lost to England in the opening match of the Euro 2024 selection with a score of 0:2, the Ukrainian Football Association said.
“In the end, the England national team celebrated a 2-0 victory, while the Ukrainians will try to rectify the situation as early as June,” it said in a report published Sunday evening.
On June 16, the North Macedonia-Ukraine match will be played in the third qualifying round.
