Children from Ukraine went on tourist trip to Split, Republic of Croatia

87 children from the families of Ukrainian defenders went on a tourist trip to Split, Republic of Croatia.
The trip was organized at the invitation of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Croatia, namely Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Croatia Vasyl Kyrylych, with the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Croatia Ivica Piric and the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
In gratitude for the trip, the children of Kyiv region presented Ivica Piric with a traditional Ukrainian motanka doll, which symbolizes prosperity and will become a talisman for his family.
“Since 2015, more than 3,500 children whose parents are defending Ukraine at the front have had a vacation in Croatia. The project has been funded by Croatia since its inception and has the support of the Ukrainian Embassy and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. I, like many people in the Croatian government, am a child of war. We understand how important it is for children to undergo rehabilitation,” said Ivica Pirić, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Croatia.
For 10 days, the children will have the opportunity to enjoy active recreation in the seaside city of Split, excursions, and communication with their Croatian peers. Five meals a day will be organized for the participants of the trip.
“Our defenders are defending us at the frontline, and we strive to create favorable conditions and give more positive moments for their families. When Mr. Ambassador of Ukraine to Croatia Vasyl Kyrylych offered to send the children of our military personnel on a tourist trip, we gladly accepted. The Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Croatia Ivica Piric has been organizing vacations for kids for several years now, and I am sure that the program will be extremely rich and interesting. We sincerely appreciate the support of our Croatian friends, which is so important to us,” emphasized Lesia Karnaukh, Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

UKRAINIAN ENTREPRENEURS VASYL KHMELNYTSKY AND ANDRIY IVANOV SPLIT MANAGEMENT OF JOINT ASSETS

Ukrainian entrepreneurs Vasyl Khmelnytsky and Andriy Ivanov have reached an agreement on splitting management of joint investment projects, in particular, Ivanov’s Quarter Partners will manage investments in the projects of UDP development company and the Kyiv airport, while Khmelnytsky via UFuture remains the majority shareholder of these companies with the power of veto.According to a joint press release issued on Thursday, UFuture holding company controls interests in all joint businesses and social projects of Khmelnytsky and Quarter Partners investment fund – in the projects of Ivanov. “We are in the final stage of restructuring and managing our investments. Today, I focus on global innovation and impact projects that are changing the country,” Khmelnytsky said.
He said that they are UNIT.City in Kyiv and Kharkiv, Biopharma, Bila Tserkva Industrial Park, Kyiv International Economic Forum, and the others.
“I have founded Quarter Partners as a new-model investment fund that combines both portfolio and venture capital projects. In addition to managing existing projects, our team is already looking for and developing promising new businesses, including startups,” Ivanov said.
He said that the focus is on IT-projects that can scale and complement each other, creating new value for their clients and society. There are many strong teams working here to develop high-quality products for consumers around the world, he said.
According to the press release, the management structure of Kyiv Airport and its development program have not changed, but UDP does intend to significantly enhance its profile activities. Conversely, UDP has changed its management structure and will announce several new projects in the near future.
Serhiy Bogoslavskyi, who has been working in the Ukrainian real estate market for over 15 years, has been appointed the President of UDP. Vitaliy Melnyk, CEO of UDP, will continue managing the development of innovative parks in Ukraine as UDP Vice President.
UFuture is a holding company of Ukrainian entrepreneur Vasyl Khmelnytsky that integrates his business and impact-investment projects. UKRAINE OPENS HONORARY CONSULATE IN CROATIA IN SPLIT

Ukraine’s honorary consulate in Croatia has opened in the Croatian city of Split. “The consulate’s office was opened by the wife of the Ukrainian president, Maryna Poroshenko, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, Croatian Defense Minister, Major General of the Croatian Army Damir Krsticevic, Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejcinovic Buric, Croatian Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic, and Split Mayor Andro Krstulovic Opara,” Ukraine’s Honorary Consul in Croatia, President of FC Arsenal Kyiv Ivica Piric wrote on his Facebook page. He noted that he had been waiting for this event for two years.
