In January-August 2024, TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) paid UAH 1.253 billion under the concluded insurance contracts, which is 53.8% more than the amount of the company’s indemnities for the first eight months of last year, according to the insurer’s website.
More than a quarter of the total amount of payments, or 27.4%, accounted for hull insurance – UAH 343.7 million, which is 35.1% higher than the corresponding figure for 8 months. In 2023, 33.1%, or UAH 414.3 million, was accounted for by MTPL (+33.3%), 21.5%, or UAH 269.6 million, by Green Card (+98.4%).
The share of VHI in the company’s claims portfolio amounted to 14.4%, or UAH 179.9 million (2.04 times more) over the past eight months.
Under property insurance contracts, TAS IG paid UAH 7.34 million (+49.7%) in the reporting period.
Under other insurance contracts, the company paid UAH 37.9 million (+84.1%).

In January-August 2024, TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) collected UAH 3056.1 million in insurance premiums, which is 37.5% more than in the same period last year.
According to the insurer’s website, motor hull insurance premiums amounted to 18.1% of the total, or UAH 554.03 million, which is 25.6% more than in January-August 2023; motor third party liability insurance premiums – 29.9%, or UAH 913.6 million (+27.5%), and Green Card premiums – 29.2%, or UAH 891.7 million (+73.8%).
In January-August, TAS Group collected UAH 338.4 million in premiums under voluntary health insurance contracts, which is 11.1% of the total premiums and 26% higher than the corresponding figure for the same period last year.
Also, property insurance contracts attracted UAH 60.88 million in premiums, which is 31.5% more than in the same period last year.
Under other insurance contracts for the first eight months of 2024, the company collected UAH 297.5 million in payments, an increase of 25.4%.
In August 2024, TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) paid UAH 149.7 million under the concluded insurance contracts, which is 30.7% more than the amount of the company’s indemnities for the same month last year, according to the insurer’s website.
More than a quarter of the volume of payments, or 28.7%, fell on hull insurance – UAH 42.9 million, which is 10.2% more than the corresponding figure for August 2023, 34.1%, or UAH 51.04 million – on MTPL (+25.8%), 16.7%, or UAH 25 million – on the Green Card (+37.8%).
The share of VHI in the company’s claims portfolio amounted to 14.9%, or UAH 22.23 million (+66.6%) for the first seven months of the year.

On June 18, the State Enterprise for Air Traffic Services of Ukraine (UkSATSE) announced its intention to conclude a contract for the purchase of services for compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles (CTP) with TAS LLC (both based in Kyiv), according to the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.
As noted, the company’s price offer amounted to UAH 567.149 thousand, while the expected cost was UAH 576.270 thousand.

In January-April, TAS Group collected UAH 116.7 million in premiums under voluntary health insurance contracts, which is 9.12% of the total premiums and 12.7% higher than the corresponding figure for the same period last year.
In turn, property insurance contracts attracted UAH 28.68 million of insurance premiums, which is 34.7% more than in the same period last year.
Under other insurance contracts for the four months of 2024, the company collected UAH 97.56 million in payments, an increase of 40.4%.
