Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns of fog in Ukraine on night and morning of November 10

On the night and morning of November 10, fog with visibility of 200-500 m (level I hazard, yellow) is expected in Ukraine, except for the northern part of the country, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

“Weather conditions may complicate traffic,” the report said.

 

Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine will experience cool and rainy weather in coming days.

On Sunday, November 9, light to moderate rain is expected at night in Zakarpattia, Prykarpattia, and Odesa regions, and during the day on the right bank. The rest of the country will see no precipitation, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

On the Left Bank, in the Carpathians, and in the Carpathian region, there will be fog at night and in the morning. The wind will be mainly southerly, 3-8 m/s. The temperature at night will be 2-7°, in the south up to 10° above zero, during the day 7-12°, in the south of the country up to 15°.

In Kyiv, there will be no precipitation on the night of November 9, with light rain during the day. The wind will be from the south, 3-8 m/s. The temperature at night will be 5-7°C, and during the day 9-11°C.

According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the highest daytime temperature in Kyiv on November 9 was 17.8°C in 2010, and the lowest nighttime temperature was -15.0°C in 1888.

On Monday, November 10, there will be light rain (in some places in the west and north of the country). At night and in the morning, there will be fog in some places in Ukraine. The wind will be mainly westerly, 3-8 m/s.

The temperature at night will be 5-10°, in the Carpathians 0-5° above zero, during the day 9-14°; in the south of the country at night 7-12°, during the day 12-17°.

On October 19, in the western, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s (level I danger, yellow) are expected during the day.
On the night of October 20 and 21, in the western regions, and on the night of October 21, in the Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, there will be frosts in the air of 0-4° (level II danger, orange).
The weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and utility companies, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

 

Thunderstorms are forecast in many regions of Ukraine

Thunderstorms are expected in the northern, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions of Ukraine on Sunday, June 22, in the coming hour and continuing until the end of the day, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Thunderstorms are also expected on Monday, June 23, throughout the day in the eastern and southeastern regions and at night in most central regions of Ukraine.
“Weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and utility companies and affect traffic,” the report said.
In this regard, a level I (yellow) danger warning has been issued in the relevant regions.
