PJSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” announced tender for MTPL insurance for UAH 3.23 mln.

PJSC Ukrhazvydobuvannya (Kiev) on August 7 announced a tender for compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles (OSAGO).

As reported in the electronic public procurement system ProZorro, the expected cost of purchasing services is UAH 3.227 million.

The deadline for submission of documents is August 14

The winners of a similar tender a year earlier was IC “VUSO”.

“Ukrhazvydobuvannya started production from two more wells

Ukrgazvydobuvannya (UGV) has launched two more high-yield wells with a flow rate of 270,000 cubic meters and 120,000 cubic meters of gas per day, the press service of Naftogaz Group said Tuesday. According to it, the wells are 6,200 meters and 6,225 meters deep, drilled in the same field, in the same reservoir and almost simultaneously, so they are called “twins” in technical slang.

Thanks to the use of modern drilling machines, the skill of Ukrburgaz specialists and the reduction of accidents during the work, the wells were drilled in 8 months, whereas previously it took 2-3 years.

“New seismic and drilling data allowed our specialists to create a high-quality 3D model, which is one of the best in “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” and allows us to effectively plan the directions of further development of this field. The works on the field continue, and drilling of the next appraisal and production well will be completed soon”, – Oleg Tolmachev, Head of UGV, noted.

In total, since the beginning of 2024, UGV has already put into operation seven new high-yield wells, including twin wells.

As reported, UGV launched 86 new wells during 2023, of which 24 – with an initial flow rate of more than 100 thousand cubic meters.

In 2022, UGV produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas (marketable), which is 3% less than in 2021. At the end of 2023, the company’s marketable gas production amounted to 13.224 billion cubic meters, which is 0.679 billion cubic meters more than in 2022. The target for 2024 is 13.75 billion cubic meters.

Ukrhazvydobuvannya has discovered new gas field with 1 bln cubic meters of reserves

Ukrhazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) has discovered a new gas field with reserves that may reach 1 billion cubic meters.

“The received geological information indicates that the reserves of the new field may reach 1 billion cubic meters of gas,” Naftogaz Ukrainy said in a press release on Tuesday.

UGV tested a drilling well with a depth of almost 4,000 meters “from scratch” and completed the work in August this year, before drilling the company’s specialists conducted a 3D seismic survey.

“This is not the first discovery of new hydrocarbon deposits this year. By building up reserves, we are creating a prospect for sustainable growth in gas production,” the press release quoted Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s acting general director Oleg Tolmachev as saying.

According to him, UGV will continue the geological exploration program at this field and plans to drill new wells.

As reported, UGV aims to increase natural gas production by 1 billion cubic meters to 13.5 billion cubic meters in 2023. In 2022, UGV produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas (commercial), which is 3% less than in 2021.

UkrHazvydobuvannya drilled deepest well in its history

PJSC UkrHazVydobuvannya (UHV) in early July completed drilling of a new exploration well at a depth of 6600 meters, which became the deepest in the company’s history.

According to the company, the well flow rate is 150 thousand cubic meters of gas.

The task of the new well was to further explore hydrocarbon deposits and clarify the geological structure of the field, which was discovered only in 2019.

The performed industrial geophysical studies allowed to add more than 100 million cubic meters of recoverable hydrocarbon reserves.

“A team of specialists from different fields worked on the design and construction of this special well, which allowed us to perform the work qualitatively and in a short time. Our drillers once again proved their skill in drilling to deep productive horizons. As a result – additional production and new prospects for further development of the field,” – said the head of the company Oleg Tolmachev.

As reported, in the first half of 2023 “UGV” put into operation after drilling and overhauls 13 wells with high gas production rates (more than 100 thousand cubic meters per day).

“Ukrgasvydobuvannya” drilled 47 new wells in 2022 against 50 in 2021. In 2023, the company plans to increase drilling 1.5 times compared to last year – up to 300 thousand meters.

“Naftogaz” aims to increase its own natural gas production by 1 billion cubic meters in 2023 – up to 13.5 billion cubic meters. In 2022, UGV produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas (marketable), which is 3% less than in 2021.
