In Ukrainian kindergartens, almost 85% of employees received vaccinations against COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet said.
“According to operational information from the regions, at least one dose of vaccination against COVID-19 has already been received: about 85% of kindergarten workers; almost 92% of employees of specialized educational institutions. […] almost 76% of workers in specialized institutions and almost 62% of kindergarten teachers have already been vaccinated with two doses,” Shkarlet wrote on the telegram channel on Saturday.
The highest rates of vaccination of kindergarten employees were noted in Ternopil region – 97.7%, Kharkiv region – 95.2%, and in Donetsk region – 92.9% of vaccinated.
The most vaccinated employees of specialized institutions are in Kherson region – 99.2%, Zaporizhia – 97.8%, and Cherkasy region – 97.3% of the vaccinated.
The 80% vaccination threshold for kindergarten staff has not yet been reached in eight regions. Employees of specialized institutions are vaccinated for more than 80% in all regions of the country.
Over the past day, 132,246 people were immunized, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported on Telegram.
“A total of 132,246 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 over the past day on September 28, 2021. One dose was received by 75,188 people, 57,058 people were fully immunized,” the message said on Wednesday morning.
It is noted that 897 mobile teams, 3,063 vaccination points, 345 vaccination centers worked during the day.
The Ministry of Health reported that 6,926,719 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, of which 6,926,717 received one dose, and 5,565,270 people received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad).
All foreigners and stateless persons who stay in Ukraine on a legal basis can be vaccinated against COVID-19 following the same procedure as Ukrainian citizens, the Ministry of Health said on Facebook.
According to the report, foreigners and stateless persons who permanently reside in Ukraine, as well as refugees or persons in need of additional protection, have the right to free vaccination. They can book their vaccinations online at the nearest location or vaccination center.
At the same time, for foreigners and stateless persons who temporarily stay on the territory of Ukraine, medical services should be covered at their own expense, voluntary medical insurance funds or from other sources not prohibited by law. The COVID-19 vaccine itself is free of charge.
All foreigners and stateless persons can obtain an International Certificate of Vaccination against COVID-19 in Ukraine.
The Slovak Republic opens an entrance for Ukrainian citizens who have completed a full course of vaccination against coronavirus (COVID-19), Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
“Slovakia has opened up for Ukrainians who have completed a full course of vaccination. For those who have not yet been vaccinated, entry is possible with self-isolation,” Kuleba said on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
During the day, July 1, some 90,959 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Ukraine, thus increasing the total number of Ukrainians who were vaccinated against COVID-19 for the entire time of the vaccination campaign to more than two million people, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports on Friday.
“Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, over two million people have been vaccinated, of which 766,483 people received two doses, and 2.001 million people received one dose (of which two received one dose abroad). A total of 2.767.613 vaccinations were carried out,” the Facebook message of the Health Ministry said.
It is reported that 90,959 people were vaccinated in Ukraine on July 1, 2021. Some 35,472 people received one dose, some 55,487 people were fully immunized.
“Some 572 mobile teams, 1,546 vaccination points, 22 vaccination centers worked during the day,” the Ministry of Health says.
They report that as of July 1, 2021, some 765,181 people signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list.
The Ministry of Health announced a record number of citizens vaccinated against COVID-19, a total of 97,130 people were vaccinated on June 25.
“A record number of vaccinations per day in Ukraine! 97,130 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on June 25, 2021,” the Ministry of Health’s Telegram channel said on Saturday.
A total of 36,540 people received one dose, 60,590 citizens were fully immunized.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 1.871.511 people have been vaccinated, of which 1.871.509 people received one dose, 550,966 people are fully immunized (two doses) (two of them are abroad).
