UKRAINE INTRODUCES TEMPORARY VISA-FREE REGIME FOR TOURISTS FROM CHINA FROM APRIL 1

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed decree No. 116/2021 “On the temporary introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of the People’s Republic of China who enter Ukraine for tourist purposes,” the presidential website reported.
According to the document, in order to develop friendly relations between Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China (PRC), to intensify bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, from April 1 to September 30, 2021, a visa-free entry to Ukraine and transit travel through Ukrainian territory will be introduced for citizens of the PRC who travel for tourism purposes if the period of their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 30 days during 180 days.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to take measures arising from the decree.

UKRAINE AND STATE IN CARIBBEAN SAINT VINCENT AND GRENADINES HAVE LAUNCHED VISA-FREE REGIME UKRAINE

Ukraine and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have launched a visa-free regime, Ukrainian Ambassador to Great Britain Vadym Prystaiko has said.
“Today with His Excellency, Mr. Cenio Lewis, High Commissioner of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the UK, we launched visa-free regime. Step-by- step and all the Commonwealth nations will become visa-free for Ukrainians,” Prystaiko wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
The ambassador said that diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines were established only in September 2019.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a state in the southern Caribbean, located on the large island of Saint Vincent and a chain of smaller islands.

UKRAINE OPENS VISA-FREE REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND AND ARABIAN PENINSULA.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree establishing a visa-free regime for citizens of Australia, New Zealand and the countries of the Arabian Peninsula. Corresponding decree No. 289/2020, dated July 21, was published on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state. It comes into force on the day of its publication.
“To establish, from August 1, 2020, a visa-free regime of entry into Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of Australia, New Zealand, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, if their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days during 180 days. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to take the measures expiring from this decree,” the text of the document reads.

UKRAINE TEMPORARILY INTRODUCES VISA-FREE REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF UK OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

A visa-free regime of entry into Ukraine and a transit via Ukraine was introduced for the citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, was introduced on a temporary basis from January 31, 2020 to January 30, 2021. Respective decree No.28/2020 as of January 29 signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was posted on the president’s website.
“To introduce from January 31, 2020 to January 30, 2021 a visa-free regime of entry into Ukraine and transit via the territory of Ukraine for the citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, if their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days,” reads the text of the decree.
The decree comes into force on the day it was published.

HEAD OF EUROPEAN UNION DELEGATION TO UKRAINE SEES NO THREATS TO VISA-FREE REGIME

Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli has said he doesn’t see any threats to the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.
Mingarelli said that he didn’t see any threats, but Ukraine must adhere to its obligations. He said about this at the event of the European business association “New 5 year challenge: Expectations. Hopes. Concerns” on Thursday in response to a question whether he sees any threats to the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.

URUGUAY INTRODUCES VISA-FREE REGIME FOR UKRAINIANS

The simplified travel regime for citizens of Ukraine and Uruguay entered into force on Friday, the Ukrainian Embassy to Argentina has reported. “From now on, the period of stay without a visa allowed on the territory of Uruguay will be 90 days, it can be renewed for a second term of 90 days,” the Embassy said on Facebook.
One should have a valid passport document of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, seafarer’s identity card or identity card for return to Ukraine (in case of loss of passport abroad and return to Ukraine) for a visa-free trip to Uruguay, it says.
