SKYUP PLANS TO LAUNCH FLIGHTS FROM UKRAINIAN ZAPORIZHIA TO LARNACA, PRAGUE

SkyUp (Kyiv) is planning to launch flights from Zaporizhia to Batumi (Georgia), Larnaca (Cyprus) and Prague (Czech Republic) at the end of spring to summer 2021.
The company’s press service said on Monday that tickets are available for purchase on the SkyUp website.
The airline also said that it has extended for the winter season flights on the Kyiv-Zaporizhia-Kyiv route, which it started operating from the new airport terminal on October 19.
“Government support for such important infrastructure projects that make passengers’ vacation more comfortable, also opens wide opportunities for increasing destinations, flight frequencies and potentially setting lower fares. We are grateful to the city and airport authorities for the honor of the first Ukrainian low-cost airline to operate the first flight,” the airline’s press service said, citing SkyUp CEO Dmytro Seroukhov.
As reported, the new terminal of Zaporizhia international airport started accommodating internal flights on October 19.

SKYUP TO OPERATE TWO FLIGHTS KYIV-TASHKENT-KYIV

SkyUp (Kyiv) will operate two nonscheduled flights on the Kyiv- Tashkent (Uzbekistan)-Kyiv route on October 15 and October 29, 2020.
The airline’s press service said on Friday that tickets are available for a price of UAH 8,400 one way. People can buy them on the official website of the company in the All Flights – Special Flights section.
The airline said that from October 1, 2020, to enter Uzbekistan, it is necessary to have a negative PCR test done no later than 72 hours before arrival in the country.

SKYUP LAUNCHES FLIGHTS FROM KYIV TO KAYSERI (TURKEY)

SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) will launch flights from Kyiv to Kayseri (Turkey) from December 27, 2020.
The airline’s press service said on Thursday that the flights will be operated twice a week: on Thursdays and Sundays.
The round-trip will cost at least UAH 5,400 without luggage. The duration of the trip is any of the passenger’s choice.
As reported, SkyUp will launch the Kyiv-Sofia (Bulgaria)-Kyiv flight for the period from December 23, 2020 to January 30, 2021.

SKYUP LAUNCHES FLIGHTS TO SOFIA

SkyUp (Kyiv) for the period from December 23, 2020 to January 30, 2021, will launch a flight on the Kyiv-Sofia (Bulgaria)-Kyiv route.
According to the company’s website, flights will be operated twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Ticket prices for the Kyiv-Sofia flights start from UAH 1,248 without luggage, Sofia-Kyiv from UAH 1,062 without luggage.
SkyUp notes that from October 1 to November 30, 2020, Bulgaria canceled mandatory self-isolation for Ukrainian citizens who arrive in the country. To cross the border, one must have a negative PCR test done no later than 72 hours before travel.
The company also added that the requirements for winter travel are still unknown, so it is necessary to additionally check the current rules of entry and rest on the eve of departure.

SKYUP AIRLINES FROM KIEV WILL PERFORM NON-SCHEDULED FLIGHT TO TASHKENT

SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) will perform an irregular flight to Tashkent (Uzbekistan) on October 1, ticket prices start at UAH 9,031 one way.
According to the press service of the company, the PQ7979 aircraft will depart from Kyiv on October 1 at 04:10 and arrive in Tashkent at 11:20. Flight PQ7980 will return to Ukraine from Tashkent on the same day at 12:20 and arrive in Kyiv at 16:00.
Tickets can be purchased on the airline’s website in the All Flights – Special Flights section.
SkyUp notes that from October 1, to enter Uzbekistan, one needs to have a negative PCR test done no later than 72 hours before arriving in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’s data of September 25, Uzbekistan is included in the “green” zone, therefore, after entering Ukraine, self-isolation or taking a PCR test is not required.

SKYUP CARRIES 212,000 PASSENGERS IN AUGUST

SkyUp (Kyiv) airline in August 2020 carried 211,900 passengers, of which 166,800 by charter flight and 45,000 by regular flights.
The press service of the airline reported on Friday that in total, in August, 1,231 flights were performed under the domestic and international flight programs (926 charter flights and 305 regular flights). At the same time, 91.5% of flights were serviced in line with the schedule.
Some 214 domestic flights for the specified period were carried out. They were used by 31,100 passengers. The most popular destinations were: Odesa-Kyiv-Odesa, Zaporizhia-Kyiv-Zaporizhia and Odesa-Kharkiv.
In addition, SkyUp transported about 7 tonnes of cargo in August. All cargo was carried out by passenger flights in the baggage compartments.
