NUMBER OF INSTALLED SOLAR PLANTS IN KYIV REGION INCREASES BY 17%

DTEK Kyiv Region Grids in the six months of 2020 connected 297 household solar power plants to the networks, thereby increasing the number of such plants in the region by 16.8%, to 2,082.

According to the press service of the company, Kyiv region is one of the five leaders, where the largest number of household solar plants is installed.

According to Vitaliy Shaida, the director general of DTEK Kyiv Region Grids, the largest number of “green” energy producers are in Kyiv-Sviatoshynsky districts with 344 stations, Brovary district with 263 plants and Boryspil district with 235 stations.

As reported, Ukrainian households had installed more than 25,600 solar panels as of July 1, 2020. The total capacity of all solar plants is 658 MW. The leaders in the number of solar power plants also became Dnipropetrovsk region (3,398), Ternopil region (2,200), Ivano-Frankivsk region (1,900), and Zakarpattia region (1,600).

In the first half of 2020, some 1,330 new private solar power plants were connected to the distribution system operators of DTEK Grids. Thus, as of July 1, 2020, the total number of private solar power plants connected to DTEK Grids is 7,220 objects, which is 28% of the total number of prosumers in Ukraine.

WIND SOLAR ENERGY INTENDS TO BUILD 60 MW WIND FARM IN UKRAINE

Wind Solar Energy LLC (Kyiv) intends to build a 60 MW wind power plant in Zhytomyr region, according to the website of the unified register of environmental impact assessment.
The project includes building 18 wind turbines with a capacity of up to 5.6 MW each. The height of the towers will be 166 meters, the diameter of the rotor is up to 150 meters.
In addition, the plans include the construction of 12 km of technological roads, 12 km of cable networks, as well as power lines of up to 6 km. The operation life of the wind farm is 20 years.
As reported, Wind Solar Energy intends to build three phases of the Lisova wind plant with a total capacity of up to 190 MW in the area of the Pokaliv village (Korosten district, Zhytomyr region).
According to data posted on the company’s website, Wind Solar Energy through its subsidiary Solar Kvant has been operating solar plants of 5 MW on 10 hectares in Dnipropetrovsk region since 2013.
According to the unified register of legal entities, the ultimate beneficial owner of Wind Solar Energy is Elvira Tesliuk, before that the Cypriot company WSE CYPRUS LTD was in the ownership structure.

WIND SOLAR ENERGY INTENDS TO BUILD 57 MW WIND FARM IN ZHYTOMYR REGION

Wind Solar Energy LLC (Kyiv) intends to build the Lisova-2 wind power plant (Korosten district, Zhytomyr region) with a capacity of 57 MW, according to a single register of environmental impact assessment.
The project includes building 19 wind turbines with a capacity of 4.2 MW each. The height of the towers will be 130 meters. The operation life of the plant is 20 years.
As reported, Wind Solar Energy intends to build three phases of the Lisova wind plant with a total capacity of up to 190 MW in the area of the Pokaliv village (Korosten district, Zhytomyr region).
According to data posted on the company’s website, Wind Solar Energy through its subsidiary Solar Kvant has been operating solar plants of 5 MW on 10 hectares in Dnipropetrovsk region since 2013.

WIND SOLAR ENERGY INTENDS TO BUILD 25 MW WIND FARM IN UKRAINE

Wind Solar Energy LLC (Kyiv) intends to build the Ovruch wind power plant (Ovruch district, Zhytomyr region) with a capacity of 25 MW, according to the website of the unified register of environmental impact assessment.
The project includes building seven wind turbines with a capacity of 3.57 MW each. The height of the towers will be 130 meters.
In addition, it is planned to build 35 kV power grids. The operation life of the farm is 20 years.

WIND SOLAR ENERGY INTENDS TO BUILD 190 MW WIND FARM IN UKRAINE (ZHYTOMYR REGION)

Wind Solar Energy LLC (Kyiv) intends to build three stages of a Lisova wind power plant with a total capacity of up to 190 MW in Korosten district of Zhytomyr region. This is evidenced by the data of the unified register of environmental impact assessment, the project was published in mid-March.
The capacity of the first stage is up to 111 MW, the second one is up to 57 MW, the third one is up to 21 MW.
It is assumed that the height of the towers of wind turbines will be 155 meters.
According to data posted on the company’s website, Wind Solar Energy (WSE), through its subsidiary Solar Kvant, has owned and operated a solar plant of 5 MW in Pokrovsky district of Dnipropetrovsk region on a 10-hectare site since 2013.
According to the unified register of legal entities, Elvira Tesliuk is the ultimate beneficial owner of Wind Solar Energy (Kyiv). Before that, the Cypriot company WSE CYPRUS LTD was in the ownership structure.
