Lviv “Cardboard and Paper Company” for 9 months increased production volume by 13%

LLC “Cardboard and Paper Company” (Lviv), a major Ukrainian manufacturer of cardboard sleeves and sanitary-hygienic products, in January-September 2023 increased its output by 13.2% to UAH 965.6 mln ($965.6 mln) compared to the same period of 2022.

According to the statistical data of UkrPapir Association provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms the company increased the output of cardboard products by 1.9% – up to 20.5 thousand tons, paper-base for sanitary-hygienic products by 5.1% – up to 5.7 thousand tons. Output of toilet paper in rolls increased by 50% to 4.5 mln pieces.

At the same time, in September the company increased output of paper and cardboard by 6% compared to the same month last year – up to 3.13 thousand tons, which is also 2% more than in August this year.

Cardboard and Paper Company LLC produces products and semi-finished products from recovered paperboard (cardboard sheets, corners, sleeves), pulp and recycled waste paper (toilet paper, towels, napkins TM Papero). Supplies products to EU countries, among others.

Customers include Biosphere, Arterium, Nestle, Khlebprom, and Yarich.

As reported, in 2022, the factory, without suspending work during the year, increased the volume of marketable products by 51.5% compared to 2021 – up to 1 billion 186 million UAH. Net profit tripled to UAH 263.7 mln.

Validity period of electronic prescriptions in Ukraine increased to 90 days

The validity period of electronic prescriptions for prescription drugs which a patient buys at his or her own expense has been extended from 30 to 90 calendar days.

According to the Ministry of Health on its website, the validity period of prescriptions for narcotic drugs remains the same – 10 days. For drugs subject to reimbursement, dispensed on preferential terms, or for extemporaneous drugs also remains the same – 30 calendar days.

The Ministry of Health reminds that narcotic drugs are dispensed only by electronic prescription.

Antimonopoly Committee will consider complaint of insurer Salamandra against Energoatom’s tender conditions

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has accepted for consideration the complaint of IC Salamandra (formerly DIM Insurance, Dnipro) against the terms and conditions of the tender of the State Enterprise “NAEK Energoatom” for compulsory motor third party liability insurance of owners of land vehicles (MTPL).

According to the decision of the AMCU on October 10, published in the system of electronic procurement Prozorro, the customer within two working days to send electronically to the appeal body the relevant information, documents and materials on the procurement procedure, as well as information on the differences between the deadline in the tender documentation and the announcement of the procurement procedure.

Consideration of the complaint will be held on October 17.

As reported, the tender was announced on October 4. The expected cost -258,396 thousand UAH.

There are 97 objects on market of cottage towns in Kiev – expert

On the market of cottage towns in Kiev in September 2023 there are 97 objects, which is 11 more than a year earlier, said the director of consulting company “RealExpo” Victor Kovalenko.

“In the market of cottage construction in Kiev during the year appeared 11 new projects: one town in Goloseevsky, Dniprovsky, Obolonsky and Svyatoshinsky districts. Two new projects appeared in Darnytskyi and Desnyanskyi districts. Three new towns appeared in Solomensky district”, – Kovalenko is quoted in the research of “RealExpo”, published on the portal zagorodna.com.

Thus, in Solomenskyi district there are 27 cottage towns, in Goloseevskyi – 20, in Darnitskyi – 17, in Svyatoshynskyi – nine, in Desnyanskyi – eight, in the rest – five or less.

Townhouses (69%), cottages (30.9%), duplexes (11.3%) prevail in the structure of real estate types in cottage towns of the capital. The share of quadrohouses is only 2%.

According to Kovalenko, prices for cottage towns decreased by 7.8% compared to last year, to 53.8 thousand UAH/sq. m. The highest prices are offered in Podilsky district (86.3 thousand UAH/sq. m), Goloseevsky district (77 thousand UAH/sq. m) and in Svyatoshinsky district (50.7 thousand UAH/sq. m).

According to the company’s data, in September of this year construction of 24 townships is underway, while the number of completed townships is 65, eight are at the project stage. 41 cottage towns in Kyiv have been fully built and sold.

During the year the construction of nine cottage towns was completed, construction work has started on two. At the same time, construction has been suspended in 10 cottage towns.

Albania allows import of Ukrainian dairy products

The Ministry of Agriculture and Development of Albania has approved the form of international veterinary certificate, which the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the export of heat-treated dairy products, the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported.

According to the report, currently it is possible to export three types of products to Albania: poultry, meat semi-finished products and heat-treated dairy products for nutrition.

On the official web portal of Gosprodpotrebsluzhba published the form of international certificate for the export of Ukrainian dairy products.

In addition, the agency reminded that in order to export food products, the market operator must submit a request for unscheduled veterinary control, which is carried out according to the requirements of the country of destination, to the main departments of the State Food and Consumer Service in the regions and Kiev, as well as its interregional branches at the state border, through which the products will be exported.

To the application of the market operator it is necessary to attach copies of the foreign economic agreement/contract; documents certifying the existence of special requirements established by the competent authority of the country of destination of the cargo (if any); documents certifying the characteristics of the cargo of food products and the vehicle (if any – invoice, CMR, commodity-transport specification of the food product).

The relevant territorial authority shall issue the international certificate on the working day after receipt of the market operator’s application.
