UNIQA insurance company (Kyiv), part of the non-banking financial group UNIQA Ukraine, whose shareholder is UNIQA Group (Austria), in January-September 2021 increased the collection of premiums by 24% – to UAH 2.345 billion, according to the company’s website.It is also noted that, according to the results of the nine months, the share of premiums in motor types of insurance is 35%, property – 21% and personal types – 44% of the portfolio.The company’s insurance reserves as of September 30, 2021 amount to UAH 1.6 billion. The assets accepted to cover insurance reserves by 63.8% exceed the amount of insurance reserves and amount to UAH 2.5 billion.The actual solvency margin of UNIQA is UAH 810.3 million and exceeds the standard by 61.8%. The insurer’s equity capital is UAH 834.5 million.The company also reports that in January-September of this year, it transferred taxes and mandatory payments to the budget in the amount of UAH 195.1 million, including income tax in the amount of UAH 84.6 million.UNIQA medical assistance for the specified period processed more than 950,000 calls, more than 180,000 were processed by technical assistance.UNIQA Group entered the Ukrainian market in 2006. The toughening of quarantine rules will affect primarily unvaccinated citizens, Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko has said.“The government is forced to place the unvaccinated people under quarantine as the coronavirus is not retreating. Europe is setting a new continental record for the incidence of COVID-19, and we must take action to save the lives of citizens who have not yet been vaccinated,” he said at a briefing on Tuesday.“The largest number of changes in the quarantine rules concerns the regime in the zones of the yellow level of epidemic danger, in particular, the work of the business. If earlier it could choose the models of activity in the ‘yellow’ zone – not to check documents on vaccination or negative test, but to work in accordance with certain restrictions in the region or to check documents and work without restrictions of this level – now the business is losing such an option,” the minister said.Liashko clarified that people who have not received at least one vaccine against COVID-19 or who do not have a negative test or a certificate of recovery will not be able to take part in all public events, including cultural ones, sports, entertainment, social, religious, etc. at the “yellow” level of epidemic danger. These people will also not be able to visit cinemas and other cultural institutions, gyms, fitness centers, swimming pools, will not be able to use the services of catering establishments, “bars, restaurants, cafes and other establishments will be closed for them.”At the same time, Liashko noted that the work of banks, gas stations, veterinary stores, pharmacies and all food stores in the “yellow” and “red” zones is not limited for the unvaccinated, “however, it is mandatory to comply with anti-epidemic rules – wearing a mask and maintaining physical distance of 1.5 meters.”
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine held a number of meetings with representatives of the government and business of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the parties agreed to develop a number of interstate agreements in the field of the agro-industrial complex, and also discussed investments in the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex, Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leschenko said on Facebook.According to him, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia agreed to develop a comprehensive framework agreement between the countries in the field of agriculture, to diversify sources of supplies of phosphate fertilizers to Ukraine, to increase support from Saudi Arabia for processing Ukrainian agricultural products and implement investment projects for processing and logistics of agricultural products.The agency also discussed with the Arabian company Ajlan & Bros Holding Group the possibility of investing in the production of agricultural products in Ukraine, with Almarai – growing alfalfa for its supply to v Saudi Arabia, with the Saudi Fund for Development – the issues of financial support for irrigation projects, with ARASCO – increasing the volume of grain purchases in Ukraine, with Saudi EXIM Bank – financing the agricultural sector of Ukraine.“One of the key tasks in the near future is to bring the negotiation process to a successful conclusion. We are continuing the dialogue, strengthening trade and investment cooperation with Ukraine’s strategic partner in the agricultural sector,” the minister summed up.As reported, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Arabian manufacturer of irrigation equipment Alkhorayef Group on November 27 signed a memorandum allowing the possibility of starting its production in Ukraine . According to the ministry, Alkhorayef Industries is the third largest manufacturer of irrigation machines in the world and the first in the Arabian Peninsula. Its activities are spread in 40 countries of the world, they produce industrial, agricultural and irrigation equipment.
The Adonis medical group has vaccinated almost all of its employees, plans to vaccinate new employees – medical and non-medical personnel – after expanding the network.
The company told the Interfax-Ukraine agency about 1,700 medical workers and administrative employees are currently vaccinated.
“In the next month, during the expansion of the network, the number of employees will increase to 2,500 people, they will also be vaccinated as part of routine immunization in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health,” Vitaliy Hyrin, the director general of the Adonis network.

Adonis is a network of private full-cycle medical centers for adults and children.
The private clinic Adonis was founded over 20 years ago. The network includes 11 branches in Kyiv and the region, including two of its own maternity hospitals and a stem cell laboratory. In the branches of the clinic, doctors conduct appointments in 66 medical areas.
The number of tourists from Saudi Arabia to Ukraine reached 48,700 people in nine months of 2021, which is 10 times more than in entire 2019, the State Agency for Tourism Development reported at a recent aviation tourism forum in Boryspil (Kyiv region).The agency clarified that its calculations were based on the assumption that the minimum expenses of one tourist are $2,000, while, according to expert estimates, they amount to $2,000-3,000.The agency indicated that the cost of the promotional campaign in the Saudi Arabian market was $120,000, another $26,000 was spent on promotional tours.Among the success factors, the agency also named the entry of the leading low-cost airline of Saudi Arabia flynas into the Ukrainian market in May this year and the flights of the Ukrainian SkyUp.At the same time, the agency indicated that in the first half of 2021, the number of tourists to Ukraine decreased by 31.54%, to 1.424 million people. The drop in the indicator was primarily due to tourists from Europe, as a result, their share decreased to 70.4% from 80% in the same period in 2020, while the share of tourists from Asia increased from 10.3% to 24.4%.
