About 5,000 Hasidic pilgrims have already arrived in Uman, Cherkasy region to celebrate the New Year according to the Jewish calendar (Rosh Hashanah), which this year will take place from 6 to 8 September, according to the Wikka Cherkasy publication.
“This year, pilgrims travel to Ukraine in advance, because last year, due to enhanced anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, not everyone was able to attend the celebration of Rosh Hashanah in Uman,” the message says.
According to the newspaper, head of the State Migration Service in Cherkasy region Ivan Shapran paid a working visit to Uman and coordinated with the staff of the Uman department of the institution further steps to prevent and identify violators of migration legislation.

The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine has excluded U.S.I. insurance company (Kyiv) and Kharkiv Municipal Insurance Company from the bureau’s associate members, the MTIBU told Interfax-Ukraine
The reason for this decision was the two-month indebtedness of the insurers to pay the guarantee fee to the MTIBU’s funds.
As reported, on April 20, 2021, the MTIBU reported that U.S.I. loses the right to conclude new contracts of compulsory insurance of civil liability of land vehicle owners (OSAGO), since a day earlier the NBU applied to it a measure in the form of suspension of licenses to carry out activities. For failure by the company to meet the solvency and capital adequacy standards, as well as the riskiness of operations, the formed insurance reserves were not placed in certain categories of eligible assets in full.
According to the data of the bureau, U.S.I. in 2020 entered into 87,050 contracts, premiums for which amounted to UAH 65.868 million, and paid to clients UAH 12.713 million.
Kharkiv Municipal Insurance Company in the first quarter of 2021 raised UAH 6.3 million of gross insurance premiums for OSAGO, paid UAH 1.33 million.

The guests will also see the reconstructions of medieval horse battles with the use of medieval weapon. Experienced actors-stuntmen will amaze the viewers with spectacular tricks on a horseback and the medieval weapon possession: bow, swords, spears. Also the guests will see horse cavalcades, fire effects, cavalry gatherings and graceful horse rides.
Several tens of horses of rare ancient breeds, collected from all over the world in the Princely stable, will take part in the performances. Some of them can be found nowhere else in Ukraine, because they were brought to Ukraine in a single number. Everyone will be able to walk up to these beautiful animals, palm them, take photos with, ride them on a horseback or in a carriage.
On Saturday, August 7, from 20:00 on the Dytynetz of Ancient Kyiv, the guests will be awaited by an enchanting night program with fire special effects and shooting fire balls from the trebuchet – the only huge functioning siege weapon in Ukraine.
The guests will feel themselves as not just spectators, but will be able to plunge into the life of a medieval city. Adults and children will be invited to take part in ancient amusements, round dances, dance flash mobs and master-classes.
It will also be possible to shoot a bow, mint a coin «for luck», dress into the costumes of the Kyivan Rus times, visit museums and expositions on the territory. By visiting the soothsayer-fortune teller over a cup of herbal tea, you can obtain the ancient secret knowledge. The fans of extreme sports will be pleased with the «Zmiy Gorynych» speed slide and the «Politaylo» rope descent. In medieval shops you can choose original handmade souvenirs for memory.

Ookla (the United States), the developer of Speedtest service, has recognized Kyivstar as the mobile network operator with the highest average mobile Internet speed in Ukraine in H1 2021, according to a report of Ookla Speedtest posted on Speedtest website.
According to the report, in Ukraine, in January-June 2021, more than 1.5 million tests were made in the company’s network by subscribers of all mobile operators participated. In particular, the total number of tests on the Kyivstar network was 546,000 with average download of 33.2 Mbps and upload of 15.7 Mbps.
Some 613,600 tests were made in the Vodafone Ukraine network with average download of 30.37 Mbps, upload of 13.73 Mbps; on lifecell network – 322,100 tests with average download of 15.72 Mbps and upload of 8.15 Mbps.
According to Ookla, the Speed Score of Kyivstar was 34.65, Vodafone Ukraine – 32.05, lifecell – 15.24. This indicator includes data on download and upload regardless of the standard.
