MORE THAN 500 FOREIGN DOCTORS READY TO PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE TO VICTIMS IN UKRAINE

More than 500 foreign doctors are ready to provide medical assistance to victims in Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, more than 500 foreign medical workers have already registered through the registration form published on the website of the ministry.
Among them are doctors, nurses and paramedics from the countries of the European Union, the UK, Switzerland, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Israel, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Jordan, Brazil.
Registration remains open.
The Ministry of Health expresses gratitude for the offer to provide foreign medical assistance to Ukraine.

FLOW OF CITIZENS CROSSING BORDER OF UKRAINE WITH EU COUNTRIES AND MOLDOVA DECREASING

The flow of citizens crossing the border of Ukraine with the EU countries and Moldova is decreasing, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Denysenko said.
“The flow of citizens at the border of Ukraine with the EU countries and Moldova continues to decrease. The level of workload at checkpoints has also decreased significantly,” Denysenko said in a video message distributed on Thursday.
According to him, over the past 12 hours, the number of cars waiting to cross the border has decreased from approximately 3,900 to 1,425 cars, and the queue of pedestrians is 30-50 people.
Among the busiest, Denysenko noted, were checkpoints Shehyni and Krakovets.

STATE-RUN UKRZALIZNYTSIA NOT TO RETURN FREIGHT CARS TO RUSSIA AND BELARUS

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, taking into account the material losses inflicted on Ukraine by the Russian Federation and Belarus, will not return their freight cars to Russian and Belarusian owners, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of Ukrzaliznytsia Valeriy Tkachev said on his Facebook page on Thursday night.
According to him, over the past 24 hours, the owners of Belarusian and Russian railcars began to contact the Center for Transport Logistics of Ukrzaliznytsia with demands for redirection and return of their rolling stock, which is now in Ukraine.
“Looking at the material damage caused to Ukraine – the aggressor country (Russia) and its ally (Republic of Belarus); and most importantly, given the thousands of innocent victims killed by the invaders… all rolling stock, cargo and other things will not be returned to the occupying countries!” Tkachev said.

PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE: EVERY CITIZEN LOST HIS JOB TO RECEIVE UAH 6,500

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the government has already prepared a special assistance program for Ukrainians who have lost their jobs, under which they will receive UAH 6,500 without any conditions. “The government has already prepared a special assistance program for all Ukrainians who have missed the opportunity to work… Every employee, every sole proprietor, our citizen who was deprived of the opportunity to work by Russia will receive UAH 6,500 without any conditions,” Zelensky said in a video statement on Thursday morning.

WORLD’S LARGEST EUROPEAN BUDGET CARRIER RYANAIR REMOVES ALL FLIGHTS FROM UKRAINE FROM BOOKING SYSTEM

The world’s largest European budget carrier Ryanair has canceled all flights to and from Ukraine, in particular, from the airports of Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa, for an unlimited period, this follows from the information in its booking system.
According to one of the correspondents of Interfax-Ukraine, the company, in particular, sent him messages about the cancellation of an already paid flight for August 29, 2022.
The day after Russia launched a war against Ukraine on February 24 and closed the country’s airspace, Ryanair announced that it had suspended and withdrawn from sale flights to/from Ukraine until the end of March, pending further information from EU security authorities.
As of the morning of March 2, flights to and from Ukraine were still in the booking system for dates after March 27.
Earlier in February, before the start of the war, Ryanair removed all flights to Kharkiv and Kherson from sale.
Ryanair’s main competitor among low-cost carriers in Ukraine, Wizz Air, is still selling tickets to and from the country for the period after March 27.

MINISTER OF HEALTH: COVID DOESN’T DISAPPEARED

The COVID-19 pandemic has not ended, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine continues to provide oxygen supplies to COVID clinics, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko has said. “The coronavirus has not disappeared. There is only one pandemic in the world, nothing has disappeared, despite the fact that this topic is not on the front pages,” he said on the air of the 1+1 TV channel on Wednesday.
Liashko noted that the Ministry of Health continues to provide COVID hospitals with oxygen in the required volume.
He also said that there is enough COVID-19 vaccine in Ukraine, but the vaccine campaign is hampered by logistical problems.
