UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES REVISES FLIGHT SCHEDULE FOR AUTUMN

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has updated its flight schedule for the beginning of autumn, taking into account the COVID-19 restrictions of the Schengen area and other countries.
According to the UIA press service, due to the extension of the relevant lockdown restrictions, UIA was forced to cancel flights to Venice (VCE), Stockholm (ARN), Copenhagen (CPH), Helsinki (HEL), Naples (NAP), Zurich in September. ZRH), Budapest (BUD), Tbilisi (TBS), Larnaca (LCA), Frankfurt (FRA), Vienna (VIE) and Warsaw (WAW).
Domestic flights will be operated from Kyiv to Lviv (LWO), Kherson (KHE) and Odesa (ODS).
From September 3, flights from Kyiv to Lviv will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Flights from Lviv to Kyiv will be operated on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
From September 4 from Kyiv to Kherson can be reached on Fridays and Sundays and from Kherson to Kyiv on Mondays and Saturdays.
From September 2, flights from Kyiv to Odesa will be operated daily, except Tuesdays. From Odesa to Kyiv the flights will be daily, except Wednesday.
UIA plans to operate international flights in the following destinations: Kyiv – Amsterdam, Kyiv – London, Kyiv – Paris, Kyiv – Nice, Kyiv – Milan, Kyiv – Dubai, Kyiv – Cairo, Kyiv – Munich, Kyiv – Baku, Kyiv – Istanbul, Odesa – Istanbul, Kyiv – Tel Aviv, Odesa – Tel Aviv, Kyiv – Yerevan, and Kyiv – Madrid.
Frequency changes will take place on the following routes:
– Kyiv – Amsterdam: round trip flights daily, except Tuesdays and Thursdays;
– Kyiv – London: the flight is scheduled for September 2;
– Kyiv – Cairo: on Tuesdays and Thursdays with return to Kyiv on Wednesdays and Fridays;
– Kyiv – Dubai: two more flights are added on Fridays and Sundays;
– Kyiv – Paris: flights will be operated daily, except Tuesdays and Fridays;
– Kyiv – Baku: every Wednesday and Sunday with return to Kyiv on Mondays and Thursdays;
– Kyiv – Istanbul: flights will be operated daily, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The airline plans to gradually restore and expand its network.
“From the second half of September, domestic and international flights will be resumed on the following routes: Kharkiv – Tel Aviv (TLV) – Kharkiv, Dnipro – Tel Aviv (TLV) – Dnipro, Kyiv – Kharkiv (HRK) – Kyiv, Kyiv – Dnipro (DNK) – Kyiv, as well as an additional frequency on the route Kyiv – Milan (MXP) – Kyiv will be added,” the UIA said on its website.
All other routes of the airline remain unchanged.

RYANAIR LAUNCHES FLIGHTS FROM UKRAINE TO COLOGNE, DUSSELDORF

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair (Dublin) has announced the launch of two new flights from Kyiv to Cologne and from Odesa to Dusseldorf as part of its winter schedule.
According to the airline’s posting on Friday, both flights will be operated twice a week as part of the Ryanair Ukraine Winter 2020 schedule, which the airline continues to expand.
Flights from Kyiv to Cologne will be operated from October 26 to Mondays and Fridays in both directions.
Flights from Odesa to Dusseldorf will be operated from November 6 to Mondays and Fridays in both directions.
