ZELENSKY DISMISSES 15 GOVERNORS

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed 15 heads of regional state administrations, deputy head of the Presidential Administration Ruslan Riaboshapka has said.
“The first part of motions has arrived from the Cabinet of Ministers today for the dismissal of the heads of regional state administrations. So, governors have been dismissed in such regions as Chernihiv, Khmelnytsky, Kherson, Ternopil, Sumy, Poltava, Odesa, where the acting head has been suspended, as well as Mykolaiv, Lviv, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia, Zakarpattia, and Volyn,” he said at a briefing on Tuesday outside the Presidential Administration’s building in Kyiv.

POLISH AND UKRAINIAN COMPANIES OPEN FIRST SWISS AVIA FUEL STATION IN UKRAINE

The Polish company UNIMOT and the Ukrainian company Wexler Group have opened Ukraine’s first fuel filling station under the brand of the Swiss network AVIA of AVIA Association, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported. The fuel filling station is located at 16 Kiltseva Highway in Sviatoshynsky district.
It is planned that by the end of this year 15 AVIA filling stations will be opened in Ukraine, three of them in Kyiv in Darnytsky, Obolonsky and Pechersky districts.
As reported, the Swiss international network of fuel filling stations AVIA Association represented by Polish-based UNIMOT signed a memorandum of cooperation in the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine with the supplier of light oil products Wexler Group.
Earlier UNIMOT received permission from AVIA International (Switzerland) to use the brand in Ukraine and announced the plan to open the first fuel filling stations in the country in 2019.
Wexler Group planned to significantly increase its presence in the retail market of petroleum products in Ukraine.
AVIA was established in 1927 as an association of several oil importers in Switzerland. In 1960, a number of international companies joined it, as a result AVIA International was formed. Currently it is present in Switzerland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.
UNIMOT S.A. is an energy company whose activities include imports and sale of petroleum products, liquefied natural gas, and electricity.

FLIXBUS LOW COST SERVICE OPENS OFFICE IN UKRAINE

FlixBus low cost service (Berlin, Germany) is expanding its presence in Ukraine with opening of its representative office in the country.
“I am very pleased that after several months of planning and preparation, we can finally announce our further development plans in Ukraine. FlixBus is now officially registered in Ukraine and has a team in Kyiv, it pays taxes to the local budget,” FlixBus Managing Director in Poland and Ukraine Michal Leman said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said that the main routes of the company are routes to Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.
Currently, trips are made only from Kyiv. However, until the end of 2019, the company plans to launch trips from Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa and Lviv. In addition, FlixBus intends to launch domestic trips in Ukraine by the end of this period.
“We are now negotiating with our partners. We are looking which lines will develop more actively. We will ask our partner if he has an opportunity of providing buses and drivers,” Lehman said answering a question ofInterfax-Ukraine.
According to the company, the cost of tickets (at a promotional price) starts from EUR 5. You can buy a ticket in the application and on the website of the company.
FlixBus began operating its first trips from Ukraine in 2017. As of June 2019, the company provides Ukraine with daily connections to Germany, Hungary, Poland and Austria. The routes are serviced by the bus partner of FlixBus – the Euroclub company.

PORTUGUESE COACH PAULO FONSECA LEAVES UKRAINIAN SHAKHTAR DONETSK TO HEAD FC ROMA

FC Shakhtar Donetsk has announced that Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca left the Ukrainian club. “FC Shakhtar thanks Paulo Fonseca and his coaching staff for their excellent work. We wish them every success in their further career, more outstanding achievements, and great victories!” a report posted on the club’s website reads.
Italy’s Roma, in turn, reported on its website that Fonseca had been appointed the club’s head coach.
After taking the helm at Shakhtar on June 1, 2016, over three years Paulo has become one of the most successful coaches in the club’s history. With the team, he claimed three golden doubles and brought the absolute leadership in Ukrainian football back to Shakhtar. Over the years, the Orange-and-Blacks won three league titles, raised three Ukrainian Cups and secured a Ukrainian Super Cup.
In total, under the leadership of Fonseca, the team had 139 games, winning 103 of them.

CHORNOMORETS CENTRAL STADIUM IN ODESA WILL BE SOLD ON DUTCH AUCTION

The Individuals’ Deposit Guarantee Fund plans on June 25, 2019 to hold a Dutch auction for the sale of non-residential buildings of the Chornomorets central stadium at 1/20 Marazliyevska Street in Odesa. According to the press service of the agency, the lot also includes the rights of claim under 40 contracts signed with legal entities.
“All the assets are on the balance sheet of JSC Imexbank and offered in this composition for the first time. The initial selling price is UAH 3.666 million. The total area of non-residential real estate located in the historical center of Odesa, which is sold as a single lot, is 80,300 square meters,” the report says.
It says Chornomorets stadium, in addition to the sports part, includes a business center with a restaurant with a total area of 10,700 square meters, a fitness center of 4,300 square meters, a hotel of 9,800 square meters, an underground parking lot, etc.
