Agricom invested $2 mln in reorganization of oat flakes plant

Agricom Group, after liberation from occupation of Chernihiv cluster, has invested $2mn in the second stage of reorganization of the plant, which produces cereal flakes and products based on them under Dobrodiya, San Grano, San Granola, Woosyanka and Yummoji brands, the press service of the agricultural holding reported.
“Investments are aimed at opening new facilities (launching extrusion and granola shops, starting a pellet shop), creating and launching new brands (Yummoji ready-made breakfasts), development in EU countries, new technologies, etc.,” the press service quoted Anatoly Shkribliak, one of the group’s shareholders, as saying.
According to the press release, Dobrodia Foods LLC, which sells the plant’s products, changed its strategy in 2022.
“We launched our own logistics of products to European countries. In the summer of 2022 we opened a trading house in Poland, which is now successfully developing, and our products increasingly appear on the shelves of European supermarkets. We have big plans to cover all of Europe,” Shkribliak stressed.
According to his information, Agricom currently exports its products to over 40 countries.
Agricom Group is an agribusiness group founded in 2013. It specializes in the development, production and distribution of food products from grain crops. It cultivates about 28,000 hectares in Lugansk, Chernigov, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions.
In May 2018, the agroholding launched a $10.5 million plant producing cereal flakes from Dobrodia TM in the village of Mikhailo-Kotsyubinskoye (Chernigov region). Dobrodia Foods LLC (Kiev) produces and sells grocery products, which include wheat flour, flour from other grains, cereal flakes and cereal mixtures.
This company was occupied in March 2022 by Russian troops and liberated by the AFU in April, in the same month the company resumed cereal production.

AGRICOM INVESTS $ 2 MLN IN TO PLANT DEVELOPMENT

Agricom Group in the second half of 2021 invested about $ 2 million in the development of a plant for the production of cereal flakes under the Dobrodiya brand, located in the village of Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske (Chernihiv region), the company also plans to launch three new lines of products next year.
The co-owner and executive director of the agricultural holding and the new president of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club, Petro Melnyk, told about this in an exclusive interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
“In 2021, we adopted a new strategy, according to which we plan to invest about $ 20 million in the development of processing in Ukraine within five years. Over the past six months, we have invested about $ 2 million. Now the construction of a production warehouse is in full swing, this is an additional investment. I hope we will participate in the opening by spring or closer to summer,” he said.
In addition, the agricultural holding plans to start production of three new product lines in 2022 at the specified production site with an area of 6 hectares in Chernihiv region.
“Next year we plan to launch three new product lines. These are not cereals, these are other products, we will actively announce their appearance on the shelves. Six hectares of the production site, where we see the second and third lines of production in the future,” Melnyk emphasized.
In addition, the group of companies is considering the feasibility of launching production of fuel pellets in Zhytomyr region.
According to Melnyk, Agricom Group is implementing the relevant plans thanks to a successful season in terms of financial indicators and an increase in sales of products under the Dobrodiya trademark.

CEREALS PRODUCER AGRICOM LAUNCHES OAT FLAKE FACTORY WORTH $10.5 MLN IN CHERNIHIV REGION

Agricom Group on May 16, 2018, launched a factory to produce flakes from oats and other types of cereals under the Dobrodiya trademark in the village of Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske in Chernihiv region. The project is estimated at $10.5 million, the company’s press service said. This includes 40% of the company’s own funds and 60% are loans.
The construction lasted for more than three years, it said. “Way back in 2014, it was decided to start production of value-added products. It took almost four years to move from the idea to the implementation of the project, and now we are again thinking about new goals,” CEO of Agricom Group Petro Melnyk said. The production capacity of the factory is one million kg per month.
The Group has a full cycle of production: from cleaning, peeling, grinding, hydrothermal processing, cutting, rolling and to packing in various types of packaging.
Agricom Group produces and distributes food made of cereals. It combines agricultural, processing and trading enterprises. The Group tills 40,000 hectares in Rivne, Chernihiv and Luhansk regions. Its storage capacities are represented by two facilities for 63,000 tonnes.
