In the first half of 2026, PJSC “Podillya Food Company” increased its net profit by 42.4% compared to the first half of 2025, reaching 587.25 million UAH.
As the company reported in the National Securities and Stock Market Commission’s (NSSMC) disclosure system, it increased its revenue 2.4-fold to 2.48 billion UAH.
According to the report, gross profit rose 4.1-fold to 541.74 million UAH, while operating profit increased by 44% to 710.91 million UAH.
Since the beginning of the year, the company’s assets have increased by 0.8% to 9.46 billion UAH, while equity rose by 12.4% to 5.34 billion UAH, including retained earnings, which increased by 12.4% to 5.33 billion UAH.
The company’s current assets increased by 5.3% over the first half of the year to 6.36 billion UAH; specifically, trade and other current receivables rose by 2% to 3.36 billion UAH, while total liabilities decreased by 11% to 4.12 billion UAH.
According to the report, in the second quarter of 2026, “Podillya Food Company” continued to invest in the acquisition, modernization, and maintenance of fixed assets—including production equipment, vehicles, infrastructure facilities, and auxiliary equipment. Specifically, the company acquired new agricultural machinery—including mineral fertilizer spreaders, a generator, and seed cleaning equipment—as well as a disc harrow; for its dairy operations, it purchased a new cooling panel and a milk pasteurizer.
Going forward, “Podillya” plans to focus on increasing the yield of sugar beets and grain crops using precision farming technologies, specifically variable-rate fertilizer application and GPS-monitored machinery. The company is also considering expanding its portfolio of leased land and upgrading its fleet of agricultural machinery with energy-efficient models.
In addition, “Podillya” is analyzing the possibility of investing in a production line for granulated beet pulp and molasses, which will allow the company to diversify its revenue streams and ensure zero-waste production.
In the livestock sector, “Podillya” plans to gradually increase the size of its dairy herd and replace low-productive animals with breeding stock possessing high genetic potential. Plans also include the renovation of barns and the automation of feeding processes to increase average daily milk yields.
PJSC “Podillya Food Company” is part of the “Ukrprominvest-Agro” agricultural holding. It owns a land bank of 51,000 hectares. It specializes in growing sugar beets, wheat, corn, and barley, as well as in swine farming (21,000 head), and maintains a herd of 3,000 head of cattle. It has a grain storage facility with a capacity of approximately 60,000 metric tons. The company employs 5,500 people.
“Ukrprominvest-Agro” is engaged in crop cultivation, sugar and flour production, and meat and dairy livestock farming. The group’s land bank exceeds 116,500 hectares. The agricultural holding is located primarily in regions that have not been invaded by Russian occupiers.
The group’s sugar business consists of two sugar factories in the Vinnytsia region. Total grain storage capacity for agricultural crops is 120,000 metric tons.
“Ukrprominvest-Agro” comprises “Agroprodinvest Group” LLC, “PK Podillya” PJSC, PK Zorya Podillya LLC, Vinnytsia Bakery Products Plant No. 2 LLC, Dniproagrolan Agricultural Farm, Ivankivtsi Agricultural Farm, Mas-Agro LLC, Pravoberezhne LLC, and Progress-NT LLC.
Since December 2019, the agricultural holding has been owned by Oleksiy Poroshenko, the son of the former president of Ukraine.
In 2025, the “Podillya” Food Company saw its revenue decrease by 39.5%—to 3.18 billion UAH—and its net profit decrease by 36.1%—to 698.8 million UAH.
The agricultural holding “Continental Farmers Group” has begun its winter crop planting campaign for the 2027 harvest, with winter rapeseed as the first crop; the company plans to allocate 32,000 hectares for it, according to its press service.
In total, the company is allocating 95,200 hectares for winter crops in 2027. In addition to rapeseed, the crop mix includes 49,900 hectares of winter wheat and 13,300 hectares of winter barley.
“Sowing of grain crops will begin on schedule in early September, after the fields have been cleared of previous crops. We have traditionally developed our operational plans based on a proven balance in the crop mix,” the agricultural holding’s press service quoted Chief Operating Officer Kostyantyn Shytiuk as saying.
It is noted that the planting season began at the typical time seen in recent years and is proceeding under favorable agroclimatic conditions. Thanks to sufficient soil moisture, most divisions expect to see good emergence of winter rapeseed, and the main planting will take place during the first and second decades of August.
As previously reported, the agricultural holding “Continental Farmers Group” (CFG) has joined the global structure of the international agri-food company Olam Agri as a separate business unit.
“Continental Farmers Group” was established in November 2018 as a result of the merger between the ‘Mriya’ agricultural holding and CFG, following “Mriya’s” agreement with international investor Salic UK regarding the sale of its assets.
Continental Farmers Group operates in the Ternopil, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernivtsi regions, grows grain and oilseed crops, engages in primary and secondary potato processing, and employs approximately 2,600 people.

Astarta, an agro-industrial holding and Ukraine’s largest sugar producer, increased its product sales by 34.3% in April–June 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 266,640 metric tons, according to data published by the holding on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
According to the data, due to lower prices for sugar and milk, revenue growth was more modest—at 16.9%: in total, the company sold 4.58 billion UAH worth of its main products in the second quarter of this year, compared to 3.91 billion UAH in the second quarter of 2025.
In particular, sugar sales increased by 28% in volume terms in the second quarter of this year—to 92,600 metric tons—while the average selling price fell by 14.3%—to 20,770 UAH per metric ton.
Astarta’s sales volumes of wheat and corn during the reporting period amounted to 62.03 thousand metric tons and 3.18 thousand metric tons, respectively, at average prices of 9.90 thousand UAH per metric ton and 27.45 thousand UAH per metric ton, respectively, whereas the company did not sell these products in the second quarter of last year.
Corn sales, on the other hand, fell by 19.1% to 32.39 thousand metric tons, while the price rose by only 3.9% to 10.02 thousand UAH per metric ton.
Sales of soybean oil in the second quarter of 2026 fell by 27.8% compared to the same period in 2025—to 8.48 thousand metric tons—as the price of this product rose by 13.9%—to 52.28 thousand UAH per metric ton. Sales of soybean meal also fell by 15.8%—to 37.11 thousand metric tons—as the price rose by 23.1%—to 18.76 thousand UAH per metric ton.
The agricultural holding’s milk sales in April–June 2026 increased by 2.6% to 30.84 thousand metric tons, but the price of this product fell by 14.8% to 15.79 thousand UAH per metric ton.
Taking these figures into account, Astarta increased its total sales volume of core products for the first half of the year by 32.3% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 656.28 thousand metric tons. Due to lower prices for sugar and milk, revenue growth was also lower—by 20.2%: in total, the company generated 10.95 billion UAH in revenue from its core products, compared to 9.11 billion UAH in the first half of 2025.
The “Agrotrade” Group has begun the 2026 harvest, during which early grain and oilseed crops will be harvested this year on an area of over 20,000 hectares, the company’s press service reported.
“We have mobilized a sufficient number of machines, including 25 combine harvesters and a large number of trucks for transporting grain, to carry out the harvest without delays, since after the harvest is complete, we will begin planting winter rapeseed, followed by wheat. Our main task is to harvest the crop—which the team has been working on all year—in a timely and high-quality manner,” the press service quoted Ivan Kryuchkov, director of the group’s agro-industrial department, as saying.
According to the report, three of the company’s clusters were the first to join the harvest campaign. In the Poltava region, threshing of winter rapeseed has begun, while in the Chernihiv region, threshing of winter rapeseed and winter barley has started. The Kharkiv cluster will join the harvest once the seed winter wheat has reached the required maturity.
The company noted that this year, early crops will be harvested across four clusters. The area planted with winter rapeseed totals 8,230 hectares, winter barley—523 hectares, and winter wheat—11,500 hectares. The total area under these crops exceeds 20,000 hectares.
The Agrotrade Group is a vertically integrated holding company that cultivates over 70,000 hectares of land. It owns a network of grain elevators with a capacity of 570,000 metric tons and a seed plant based at the “Kolos” farm (Kharkiv Oblast). The founder and CEO is Vsevolod Kozhemyako.
Agrotrade, harvest, rapeseed, wheat, agricultural holding
The Astarta agricultural holding has begun the harvest at its farms in Poltava Oblast and plans to harvest winter wheat from 38,000 hectares and winter rapeseed from 14,000 hectares, the company’s press service reported.
“Despite a delayed start to spring fieldwork due to unfavorable weather conditions, the harvest of early-maturing grains began at the optimal time,” the press service quoted Andriy Zagorulko, director of the holding’s Department of Crop Production, Logistics, and Mechanization, as saying.
He noted that production teams had completed all necessary preparatory work, and that the key priorities during the harvest remain harvest quality, minimizing losses, worker safety, and seamless coordination among all involved teams.
In the third ten-day period of July, enterprises in the Western region will join the harvest campaign.
“Astarta” is a vertically integrated agro-industrial holding operating in seven regions of Ukraine and is the country’s largest sugar producer. The company’s portfolio includes five sugar refineries, agricultural enterprises with a land bank of 214,000 hectares (including 129,000 hectares in Poltava Oblast, 42,000 hectares in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and 16,000 hectares in Vinnytsia Oblast), and dairy farms with 30,000 head of cattle. Astarta’s net profit for 2025 fell 4.2-fold to $19.94 million, while consolidated revenue declined by 23% to $472 million.
