Ukraine since the beginning of the 2020/2021 agricultural year (July-June) as of April 7, 2021 exported 36.07 million tonnes of cereals and legumes, which is 22.8% less than on the same date of the previous agri-year.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, to date, 14.46 million tonnes of wheat, 16.90 million tonnes of corn, and 4.11 million tonnes of barley have been exported.
As of the indicated date, 97,400 tonnes of flour were also exported.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukraine exported 56.72 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in 2019/2020 agri-year.
Ukraine since the beginning of the new 2019/2020 agricultural year (July-June) and as of October 7, 2019 had exported 14.472 million tonnes of grain and legumes, which is 45% more than on the same date last agri-year.
According to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, farmers have also exported 9.2 million tonnes of wheat, 2.99 million tonnes of barley, and 2.24 million tonnes of corn.
As of October 7 of this year, 87,800 tonnes of flour have also been exported.
As reported, with reference to the ministry, Ukraine in the 2018/2019 agri-year exported a record 50.4 million tonnes of grain, legumes and flour, which is 23% more than in the previous agri-year.
Ukraine boosted exports of grain and leguminous crops 11.5% in the 2018/2019 agricultural year (July-June) so far (by January 2, 2019) to 23.098 million tonnes, as compared with the same period last year.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, 10.47 million tonnes of wheat, 3.15 million tonnes of barley, and 9.11 million tonnes of corn were exported.
Flour exports stood at 122,008 tonnes.
It was reported, citing the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, that Ukraine exported 39.4 million tonnes of grain in the 2017/2018 agricultural year. Grain exports in the 2018/2019 agricultural year are projected at 47.2 million tonnes.
