Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk tops the updated ranking of the world’s top 10 boxers published by The Ring.
It is noted that Usyk last entered the ring in July 2025, winning by knockout in the fifth round against Britain’s Daniel Dubois and becoming the undisputed world heavyweight champion. Later, in November, Usyk voluntarily vacated the WBO belt.
In the updated rankings, Usyk rose from second place to first after American Terence Crawford ended his career. In general, all boxers in the rankings moved up one position, while American Oscar Collazo, the WBA and WBO world champion in the minimumweight division, entered the top 10.
Thus, the top three boxers in the world are Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who competes in the heavyweight division, Japanese Naoya Inoue, who competes in the featherweight division, and American Jesse Rodriguez, who competes in the lightweight division.

The fight lasted all 12 rounds and the winner was declared by points. The decision of the judges was unanimous in favor of the Ukrainian – 115:113, 116:112, 117:111.
The fight took place at Madison Square Garden in New York (USA).
Lomachenko’s next fight may be with American Devin Haney in a fight for all lightweight championship belts.
Ukrainian Aleksandr Usyk became the owner of the IBF, WBO, WBA Super, and IBO heavyweight champion belts (over 90.718 kg), having taken them away from the Briton Anthony Joshua.
The Ukrainian won the fight, which took place at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, by unanimous decisions of all referees (117-112, 116-112, 115-113).

Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko has won the championship belt according to the World Boxing Council (WBC) in lightweight.
In a world title shot, he defeated the Briton Luke Campbell. The Ukrainian was awarded by a decision of the judges.
Now Lomachenko owns three championship belts – WBC, the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Organization WBO.
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has defeated Russian Murat Gassiev in Moscow to become the first man to unify four would cruiserweight belts (WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF). The fight between Usyk and Gassiev took place in Moscow in the early hours of Sunday, July 22, as part of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS). The fight lasted all 12 rounds and the Ukrainian boxer won on points. The judges unanimously recognized Usyk’s victory – 120-108, 119-109, 119-109 in favor of the Ukrainian.
In addition to becoming the absolute world champion in the cruiserweight division, Usyk won the Muhammad Ali Trophy and the Ring Magazine title.
In September 2016, 2012 London Olympics champion Usyk became the WBO world cruiserweight champion in his tenth professional bout.
