MS Social Project LLC (Kyiv), part of ICU Group, has announced the construction of Ukraine’s largest plant for recycling unsorted household solid waste using a special technology in Zhytomyr.
“The plant is expected to process about 82,000 tonnes of waste annually,” according to a report the company’s website.
“The technology provides for a closed semi-automatic waste treatment system consisting, in particular, of an installation for processing mixed and pre-sorted waste, a technology for the production, grinding and packaging of RDF fuel (for cement plants), a plant for processing biodegradable waste and eco-compost production, sites for recycling household and construction waste, as well as roof solar panels. The possibility of compost production using an anaerobic process is being considered,” the report says.
The processing depth of this technology is expected to reach 85–95%.
MS Social Project announced its intention to build the plant in July 2018, the investment volume was estimated at EUR 7-10 million.
Energo Impulse Ukraine LLC (Kyiv) intends to build solar power stations in Uman district of Cherkasy region for $30 million by the end of 2019.
According to the press service of Uman District State Administration, this was announced at a meeting of head of the district state administration Yevhen Danchenko with the company’s management.
According to the press service, Energo Impulse Ukraine has rented three land plots of about 80 hectares in the area of the Kolodyste village, which is part of Ladyzhynka united territorial community. It is assumed that the investor will pay about UAH 1 million per year to the local budget.
Energo Impulse Ukraine is part of the Pan Energo group of companies.
Hvizd-MP LLC (Ivano-Frankivsk region) intends to build a wind power station with a capacity of 9 MW in Nadvirna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Information on the developed project was posted in the single register of environmental impact assessment.
In January 2019 Nadvirna District State Administration approved urban planning conditions and restrictions for the project implementation on a site of 0.09 hectares.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to install three modern wind electrical turbines with a capacity of 3 MW each. The planned height of the tower is 80-140 meters.
In addition, it is planned to build a 110 kW underground power grid with a length of about 3.5 km. Electricity generated at the wind power station will be transported to the 35 kV Starunia 35/10 distribution substation.
Energoatom has announced a tender for the supply of equipment and materials for the solar power plant Sonechko-1, which is to be built in the territory of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP).
According to the ProZorro system, the corresponding auction is scheduled for June 24. The expected cost of work is UAH 270.52 million.
Energoatom proposes to supply 48,900 single-crystal or polycrystalline Risen photovoltaic modules with a capacity of 310–320 W, some 360 network inverters, 13 complete substations of 0.4/6 kV and one substation of 35/6kV, as well as 119,300 meters of copper cable.
Energoatom announced the intention to build a solar plant with a capacity of about 15 MW at Zaporizhia NPP in 2017. Since then, there have been preparatory work: design, geodetic studies. It was assumed that the solar station will be located on 37 hectares, in the territory of hydraulic structures between the cooling pond and the Kaniv water reservoir.
BUILD, ENERGOATOM, NUCLEAR POWER, PLANT, SOLAR PLANT, TENDER
UTG consulting company (Kyiv), together with partner developer DC Evolution (London), plans to implement the project of an Alfa Mall multifunctional complex with a total area of 105,000 square meters with five residential buildings and a shopping and entertainment center by late 2022.
“In this project, UTG in partnership with the owners of DC Evolution for the first time will act not just as a broker, but as a co-investor and management company. This is our personal project in Dnipro, we are conducting its full cycle,” UTG Director Yevhenia Loktionova said during Retail & Development Business Expo 2019, held in Kyiv at the end of last week.
She told Interfax-Ukraine investments in the project will be more than $100 million, project participants intend to use their own and credit funds.
The Alfa Mall multifunctional complex is to be built at 25 Zaporizke Shose Street. The total project area will be 105,000 square meters, the rental area is 52,000 square meters. The plan is to be implemented in two stages. The start of construction is scheduled for 2020, completion for the end of 2022.

Wind Solar Energy LLC (Kyiv) intends to build three stages of a Lisova wind power plant with a total capacity of up to 190 MW in Korosten district of Zhytomyr region. This is evidenced by the data of the unified register of environmental impact assessment, the project was published in mid-March.
The capacity of the first stage is up to 111 MW, the second one is up to 57 MW, the third one is up to 21 MW.
It is assumed that the height of the towers of wind turbines will be 155 meters.
According to data posted on the company’s website, Wind Solar Energy (WSE), through its subsidiary Solar Kvant, has owned and operated a solar plant of 5 MW in Pokrovsky district of Dnipropetrovsk region on a 10-hectare site since 2013.
According to the unified register of legal entities, Elvira Tesliuk is the ultimate beneficial owner of Wind Solar Energy (Kyiv). Before that, the Cypriot company WSE CYPRUS LTD was in the ownership structure.
