Nika-Tera maritime terminal (Mykolaiv), part of Group DF of Dmytro Firtash, is increasing its oilseeds storage capacity to 30,000 tonnes, according to a press release of the port. According to the company, the port is continuing work on commissioning the second phase of a transshipment complex for oilseeds.
According to the report, the volume of cargo transshipment at Nika-Tera port since the beginning of the year amounted to 3.7 million tonnes, which is 10% more than in the same period of 2017, while for the nine months of the current year 221 vessels were handled.
“A significant increase in the volume of transshipment was provided by cargo that was not previously processed in the port: oil, granulated meal and bran, as well as new items of bulk freight,” the press service said citing commercial director of the port Valeriy Salnykov.
Nika-Tera is a highly mechanized marine terminal, part of Group DF’s port business.
The terminal includes four specialized complexes: grain, for transshipment of fertilizers, bulk freight, and liquid cargo.
The consortium Enerparc AG-Rodina Energy Group plans to increase the capacity of its solar power plants in the Chornobyl exclusion zone from 1 MW to 100 MW, CEO of Rodina Energy Group Yevgeniy Variagin has said at a press conference in Kyiv. “We have plans to develop this project, to expand it to about 100 MW. And we are working on this with our partners,” he said.
Enerparc AG-Rodina Energy Group has recently officially put into operation a pilot solar station with a capacity of 1 MW near Chornobyl nuclear power plant. As reported, the construction of a pilot solar plant was completed in early 2018, in summer it got a feed-in tariff.
Solar Chornobyl LLC (Kyiv) in 2017 rented part of a concrete platform near the facility “Chornobyl NPP’s second phase switchgear” with an area of 1.7 hectares for the implementation of the solar plant construction project by Enerparc AG-Rodina Energy Group.
Allseeds group of companies is finalizing the construction of vegetable oil tanks at its terminal in Yuzhny seaport (Odesa region) in order to increase their storage capacity to 132,000 tonnes. At the loading rate of 1,300 tonnes of oil per hour, a 50,000 tonnes tanker will be full in just 40 hours, according to the group’s press release.
Allseeds in the nearest future is also planning to increase the total storage capacity of its vegetable oil terminal up to 200,000 tonnes.
According to the information on the group’s website, the storage capacity of its vegetable oil terminal is 42,000 tonnes.
Allseeds Group was founded in 2010.
