PJSC “Centravis Production Ukraine” (Centravis Production Ukraine), a member of Centravis Ltd. holding, in January-June this year produced 6.73 thousand tons of seamless stainless steel pipes, which is 5.9% more than in the same period last year (6.35 thousand tons).
At the same time, Centravis CEO Yuriy Atanasov, quoted by the company’s press service, noted that even in the conditions of war and its challenges (shelling of infrastructure, disruption of logistics, power outages, undermining of the Kakhovskaya HPP dam), the company aims “not only at survival, but also at further trade expansion around the world”.
It is recalled that this year Centravis opened a new production facility in Uzhgorod with a total investment of more than UAH 50 mln. The branch specializes in tooling tubes for cars of well-known manufacturers.
According to Atanasov, these and other steps are aimed at increasing production volumes in the current and subsequent years and creating conditions for strengthening the company’s sustainability.

PrJSC Centravis Production Ukraine, part of the holding Centravis Ltd, in 2022 exported 11.6 thousand tons of seamless stainless steel tubes to 46 countries, reducing shipments in kind by 33% compared with the previous year.
According to the company’s press release on Friday, its revenue last year was EUR125.8 million, down 9% from 2021.
At the same time, it is explained that the decrease in supplies is due to the beginning of a large-scale war and all the consequences caused by the conduct of military operations in Ukraine. In particular, the need to restructure logistics, power shortages, shelling, etc.
At the same time Centravis has kept high volume of production at its main plants and enters top-10 of the largest world manufacturers of seamless stainless tubes, the press release says.
It is also noted that according to Forbes magazine rating, Centravis company (Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region) was included in the 50 largest exporters of 2022 – the companies, which, according to the magazine editorial board, “gave the opportunity to the Ukrainian economy to survive”.
“Last year we supplied pipes to 46 countries of the world. Each delivery is a separate story, because after the beginning of the brutal Russian aggression we had to convince our partners that our team is able to fulfill all our obligations. We have adapted, become more stable and continue to develop the company, increase export and support the Ukrainian economy”, – General Director of “Centravis” Yuriy Atanasov said, who is quoted by the press service.
It is specified that “Centravis” delivered more seamless stainless tubes to Germany, Italy and the United States. The greatest demand was for general tubes and pipes for general purposes – 37% of total exports, pipes for machining – 25%, as well as tubes for tool and automotive segments – 24%.

Centravis Production Ukraine PJSC (Centravis Production Ukraine), part of Centravis Ltd holding, has invested more than UAH 50 mln in its Uzhgorod branch, officially opened in late February and plans further expansion.
According to the company’s Wednesday press release, the new production facility in Uzhgorod specializes in tool pipes for the world’s leading car brands (Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, and Chevrolet).
The total investment amounted to more than UAH 50 million, about 100 employees work at the new plant, but this year it is planned to expand and build the second stage.
“Our team has been nurturing the idea of a new plant for a long time, but the war became the driver of this process and we quickly moved from design to action. The overall goal is to strengthen our position in the global market and strengthen the sustainability of the company,” explains Centravis CEO Yuri Atanasov, who is quoted by the press service.
According to his words, the management was considering different locations for new production – in Ukraine and abroad, but in the end it was decided to start the work in Uzhgorod. Main reasons – desire to invest in their country during hard war time, create jobs for Ukrainian employees and proximity to the western border, which in its turn would help to deliver orders to “Centravis” customers even faster.
Head of production in Uzhgorod Sergey Shadsky noted that this is only the first phase of the plant, and immediately after the opening work on its expansion began. Production in Uzhgorod will not depend on cold production in Nikopol, because the first deformation run can be carried out on the relocated mill KhPT-55 cold rolling directly on the production site in Uzhgorod, but the branch will still receive semi-finished products from the hot production of the main site in Nikopol.
