OPENING OF TENANTS’ SPACE OF CHERRY MALL IS SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 10

The opening of tenants’ space on the second floor of the Cherry Mall in Vyshneve, Kyiv region is scheduled for November 10, 2019.
“Today the second floor of the Cherry Mall is almost ready, most of the floor tenants are completing repairs. In particular, Budynok Іhrashok, Foxtrot, as well as a food court on the second floor, in particular, New York Street Pizza, Kryla, burger’s place and other fast food establishments. We set the task to open the second and second+ floors by November 10,” Technical Director of the shopping center Viktor Bleskin told Interfax-Ukraine.
He also said that Sport Life is actively carrying out repair work, which occupied the entire third floor, as well as the Linia Kino cinema chain and the Play & Jump children’s entertainment center on the fourth level.
“The official opening of the entire mall is tentatively planned for the middle of December. By this time, all tenants must complete repairs at their facilities,” Bleskin added.
According to CEO of Edelburg Development (the project developer) Serhiy Kucher, the development of megamalls today is an erroneous strategy.
“It is clear now that local facilities of 20,000-30,000 square meters will live much longer and grow faster,” he said.
As reported with reference to the project manager, partner of UTG (exclusive agent for the rental of retail space in the Cherry Mall), Artiom Neposedov, the first floor in the new Cherry Mall shopping center of 3,400 square meters was opened in September 2019.

FIRST FLOOR OF CHERRY MALL IN VYSHNEVE TO BE LAUNCHED IN SEPTEMBER

The opening of all tenants of the first flow of Cherry Mall in Vyshneve, Kyiv-Sviatoshynsky district of Kyiv region, is scheduled for late September 2019. “By the end of September, all stores and outlets located on 3,400 square meters of the first floor will open in the new Cherry Mall with a total area of 18,000 square meters,” Project Manager, partner of UTG (an exclusive agent for renting out retail space in the Cherry Mall) Artem Neposedov said.

According to him, in particular, the first floor of the Cherry Mall includes Allo, Master Zoo, Farmacia, Italia del Gusto, Aurum, lifecell, D&P, Beer market, Coffee Beans, Hazelnut Chest shops and others.

In addition, in the Quarter of Gifts with an area of 240 square meters, Snuffbox, Mobi bug, Express manicure, operators of accessories and leather goods will begin working.

The shopping center has five levels, the total area is 18,000 square meters, lettable area is 15,000 square meters. At the same time, the occupancy of the shopping center as of September 12 is 90%.

As reported, in August 2019, Fozzy Group, the commercial and industrial group opened a new Fora supermarket with an area of 1,500 square meters in the Cherry Mall, expanding the food retail network to 244 stores.

According to company estimates, attendance at Cherry Mall in the first year will be about 15,000-18,000 people a day with the prospect of further growth to 20,000 people.

FORA OPENS CHAIN’S LARGEST STORE IN CHERRY MALL TRADE CENTER IN VYSHNEVE

Fozzy Group has opened a new supermarket Fora with an area of 1,500 square meters in the Cherry Mall trade and entertainment center (Vyshneve, Kyiv-Sviatoshynsky district of Kyiv region), expanding the network to 244 objects.
“One of the main anchor tenants, the modern Fora supermarket, has opened in the new Cherry Mall trade center. The operator is located on the ground floor of the shopping center on an area of about 1,500 square meters,” the press service of UTG, the exclusive agent for leasing retail space in Cherry Mall, said.
The assortment of the store includes 5,000 commodity items. In addition to six self-service cash desks, it has five regular cash desks and two express cash desks.
The retailer’s press service told the Interfax-Ukraine agency, the outlet is the largest one in the Fora chain. It became the 244th network object in Ukraine and the 221st one in Kyiv region.
According to UTG, the mall is completing internal repairs on leased space and is preparing for the grand opening of the mall. The total area of Cherry Mall will be 18,000 square meters, rental some 15,000 square meters, while 90% of the space has already been leased.
According to the company’s estimates, attendance at Cherry Mall in the first year will be about 15,000-18,000 people a day with the prospect of further growth to 20,000 people.

FIRST SHOPPING MALL CHERRY MALL IN VYSHNEVY NEAR KYIV TO OPEN IN APRIL – UTG

The first shopping mall, Cherry Mall, with a total area of 18,000 square meters in the town of Vyshneve in Kyiv region is to open in April 2019. Edelburg Development is the exclusive agent of the mall and developer of the project, while Fine Partners Invest is engaged in the construction of the facility, Kyiv-based UTG told Interfax-Ukraine. “Considering that the mall is located in a new, densely populated residential area where 85% of residents are families with children, we tried to think of its content so that you can easily combine shopping and sports, going to a restaurant and watching the premiere at the cinema,” Chief Commercial Officer of Edelburg Development Maryna Kravchenko said.
Project manager and partner of UTG Artem Neposedov estimates the attendance of the mall will be 15,000-18,000 people per day. “More than 25,000 people live in walking distance from the Cherry Mall shopping center. In addition, there are three public transport stops near the shopping and entertainment center, thanks to which the site’s coverage area includes almost all 75,000 residents of Vyshneve. Therefore, the expected attendance of the facility will be 15,000-18,000 people per day,” he said.
The rental area of the facility is 13,000 square meters, with 65% of the area already leased. In particular, the anchor tenant of the Cherry Mall will be the Sport Life fitness club with an area of 3,500 square meters. Its infrastructure includes dry and wet zones with three swimming pools. Its anchor tenants also include the five-hall Linia Kino cinema; the Fora food supermarket in the new concept (1,500 square meters), the Foxtrot electronics supermarket (740 square meters). The Cherry Mall will also house a children’s entertainment center with a climbing wall, rides and a children’s room. In addition to boutiques, shops and beauty salons, there will be a family restaurant and four cafes.
Edelburg Development was founded in 2007 with the participation of WBA Immo GmbH, an engineering company, foreign investment was raised. It is a representative of the international development group on the Ukrainian primary real estate market.
