Over the past day, June 17, some 81,713 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection in Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports on the Telegram channel.
Some 57,970 people received one dose, 23,743 people were fully immunized.
During the day, 618 mobile teams and 964 vaccination stations worked.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 1,652,055 people have been vaccinated, of which 1,652,053 people received one dose, 337,345 people were fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad). A total of 1,989,398 inoculations were carried out.
The number of deaths in Ukraine in April 2021 amounted to 68,620, which is 48.5% more than in April 2020, the State Statistics Service reported on Friday. This is the highest rate of deaths since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the service, in general, since the beginning of the year, 242,670 people have died in Ukraine, which is 24.3% more than in the last leap year.
As reported, in August 2020, the number of deaths in the country was 3.9% more than in August a year earlier, in September – by 15.4%, in October – by 17.5%, in November – by 35%, in December – by 42.9%, in January of this year – by 7.7%, in February – by 9%, and in March – by 34.4%.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended quarantine in Ukraine until August 31, 2021 and established new quarantine restrictions at the Wednesday meeting, the Health Ministry’s press service has said.
According to the statement, a “green” level of epidemic danger is established throughout the country, at which the mask regime is maintained in public transport during mass events.
The work of catering, entertainment venues (nightclubs), cinemas and halls of other culture sectors, as well as other public events are allowed, provided that the mask regime is observed.
As of June 14, according to the incidence rates of COVID-19, Ukraine entered the “green” zone according to the EU criteria, the Coronavirus-info Telegram channel reported.
According to the report, the country has reached the lowest incidence rates in the last year, in particular, an indicator of 74.71 cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 population was recorded, with the EU criterion of 75 cases per 100,000 population.
As reported, last week all regions of Ukraine entered the “green” epidemic zone of COVID-19 in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
Over the past day, June 8, some 53,161 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine, the total number of immunized people was 1,328,070, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports.
“Some 53,161 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 per day on June 8, 2021. A total of 43,925 people received one dose, 9,236 people were fully immunized,” the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine said on Wednesday morning.
The department said that 485 mobile teams and 624 vaccination points worked during the day.
“As of June 9, 2021, some 659,473 people signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list,” it reported.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign 1,328,070 people have been vaccinated, of which 1,328,068 people received one dose, some 161,378 people were fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad). A total of 1,489,446 vaccinations were carried out.
As of June 9, all Ukrainian regions entered ‘green’ quarantine zone.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the weakest quarantine restrictions are in effect in the “green” zone, including this level allows revising the approaches to anti-epidemic restrictions in terms of easing.
The “green” level is set simultaneously throughout Ukraine, if, in particular, the detection rate of cases of COVID-19 infection by PCR and by determination of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen is less than 5%.
In addition, the “green” level in the country is established if the incidence in at least 13 regions of Ukraine is less than 50% of the epidemiological threshold.
