FlixBus launches three more new routes from Ukraine to Germany

FlixBus, the largest bus transportation operator in Europe, is launching three additional international routes from Ukraine to Germany ahead of the winter holidays.

According to the operator’s press service on Monday, the flights will be operated in the directions of Ivano-Frankivsk – Berlin, Chernihiv – Cologne, and Odesa – Bremen.

“FlixBus is launching new routes to Germany to help even more Ukrainians reunite with their families during the Christmas and winter holidays. It is estimated that up to 1.65 million Ukrainians live in Germany, for whom these routes create an opportunity to reach their loved ones in a convenient and comfortable way. For many, this is more than just a trip. FlixBus strives to make these meetings more accessible, especially at such an important time of the year,” the operator’s press service said.

The first flight on the route Odesa – Uman – Vinnytsia – Khmelnytskyi – Ternopil – Lviv – Berlin – Hamburg – Hamburg – Bremen is scheduled for December 10 from Odesa. Departures will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. In the opposite direction, the bus will run on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

The flight Chernihiv – Kyiv – Zhytomyr – Rivne – Lviv – Berlin – Magdeburg – Hanover – Dortmund – Essen – Duisburg – Dusseldorf – Cologne Bonn Airport will be launched for the first time on December 16. Reportedly, it is another convenient option for traveling to Cologne, in particular to Cologne-Bonn Airport. The bus will depart on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In the opposite direction, the bus will depart on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The route Ivano-Frankivsk – Lviv – Rzeszow – Kielce – Łódź – Poznan – Berlin will be operated twice a week: on Thursday and Sunday, and in the opposite direction – on Monday and Friday.

On November 1, FlixBus also launched a new route from Kyiv to Munich. The line allows passengers to easily transfer to flights to Italy, France, Croatia, and other European countries.

The company provides direct connections between 29 cities in Germany and 11 cities in Ukraine. FlixBus already has 28 direct bus routes between Ukraine and 8 EU countries. Nine flights connect Ukraine with European airports.

FlixBus to launch another Kiev-Berlin-Hamburg-Bremen route

One of Europe’s largest bus operators FlixBus announced the launch of a new international line from Ukraine starting February 14: Kiev – Berlin – Hamburg – Bremen and extension of the existing one from Warsaw-Lublin to Odessa, the company’s press service said Thursday.
“Today we are taking the next step in developing lines from Ukraine to Germany and Poland. Warsaw, Berlin and Hamburg are top destinations for travelers. Demand proves that Ukrainians care about these destinations,” commented FlixBus director for Ukraine, Poland and the Baltics Michal Lehmann.
He noted that in spite of the war, the company has doubled the size of the route network from Ukraine during the year and plans to open new lines if it sees that people need transportation services.
According to the message tickets for flights N3206 Kyiv – Zhytomyr – Rivne – Lviv – Berlin – Hamburg – Bremen and N3242 Odessa – Uman – Vinnitsa – Khmelnytskyi- Lviv – Lublin – Warsaw are available at the site, in mobile application FlixBus and at partner agencies.
The route Odessa-Warsaw is presented on the current line, on which the bus departed from Vinnitsa. Given the high demand in the south of the country, it was decided to extend the line to include Uman and Odessa. Flights are daily. The bus will be on the road for about a day.
From Kiev to Germany the buses will go three times a week: on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. From Bremen to Ukraine the bus departs on Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Travel time is about 30 hours, including stops and border crossing time.
As reported, after the start of a full-scale war, FlixBus launched 8 new routes from Ukraine to Europe. The company already has 16 lines from Ukraine to six European countries: Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Austria.
FlixBus, which develops bus transportation in Europe and the U.S., was founded in 2013. It operates on a partnership model with regional bus carriers that provide their buses and route documents.
In June 2019, FlixBus announced the opening of a representative office in Ukraine, in July 2020 the company launched domestic flights in the country.

BUS OPERATOR FLIXBUS OPENS NEW INTERNATIONAL LINE

The bus operator FlixBus will launch a new international line from Chernivtsi to Wroclaw, Poland from June 4, the company said on Wednesday.
According to the company, the new line received the number 3232, its full route: Chernivtsi – Kolomyia – Ivano-Frankivsk – Lviv – Krakow – Katowice – Wroclaw.
Krakow and Wroclaw are major transport hubs for FlixBus. From them, buses can reach more than 100 European cities, the company said in the press release.
The company announced that two previously suspended international FlixBus lines are also being relaunched. These are N3222 Kyiv – Warsaw – Szczecin (will start running again from June 3) and 3241 Chernivtsi – Warsaw (from June 4).
Their routes: – N3222: Kyiv – Zhytomyr – Rivne – Lutsk – Lublin – Warsaw – Lodz – Poznan – Gorzow Wielkopolski – Szczecin; and 3241: Chernivtsi – Kolomyia – Ivano-Frankivsk – Lviv – Lublin – Warsaw.
All three of these lines will initially operate three times a week, but will increase in frequency over time.
So, as early as June 28, the Kyiv – Szczecin line will begin to run four times a week, and Chernivtsi – Warsaw and Chernivtsi – Wroclaw – five times a week. Branded green buses FlixBus are assigned to these lines.

FLIXBUS STARTS SELLING TICKETS VIA PRIVATBANK

Bus operator FlixBus has started selling tickets via the state-owned PrivatBank (Kyiv), the press service of PrivatBank said on Tuesday.
According to the press release, tickets, in particular, can be bought using the Privat24 mobile app and the Privat24 web interface, as well as at the bank’s cash desks and via self-service terminals. At the same time, using the bank’s ticket services, you can book any FlixBus ticket to 34 European countries, as well as Turkey and the United States.
After payment, the customer will receive an online ticket to the passenger’s email, which will also be available in the Privat24 app, as indicated in the message.
The bank said that the PrivatBank bus ticket sales service was launched in 2010, currently tickets can be bought via 13,000 terminals or at one of the bank’s 2,500 offices throughout Ukraine.
According to PrivatBank, more than 460,000 people have already used the service since April 2017.
FlixBus, that offers bus transportation in Europe and the U.S., was founded in 2013. It works on a partnership model with regional bus carriers who provide their buses and route documents, while FlixBus deals with sales, marketing and schedule management.

FLIXBUS OPENS THREE NEW LINES FROM UKRAINE TO POLAND AND CZECH REPUBLIC

The bus operator FlixBus will open three new routes on November 4 and on November 5: Kyiv – Warsaw – Szczecin (both are in Poland), Chernivtsi – Warsaw and Lviv – Ostrava (the Czech Republic).
As Managing Director of FlixBus in Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic States Michal Lehman said at a press conference on Tuesday, route number 3222 Kyiv-Warsaw-Szczecin, which will be operated jointly with private entrepreneur Serhiy Sherstiuk, will also pass through the following cities: Zhytomyr, Rivne, Lutsk, Lublin, Lodz, Poznan and Gorzow Wielkopolski. The trip frequency is twice a week.
Route 3241 Chernivtsi – Warsaw (partner – IV-AUTO) will pass through Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Lublin. The frequency is three times a week.
Route CUA025 Lviv – Ostrava (partner – ACIK, Poland) will pass through Krakow, Katowice and Bohumin. Its frequency is twice a week.
“The first two lines are fully compliant with the green FlixBus standards. The third line will be fully operated by ACIK, but we will also sell tickets for these trips. There are separate seats on ACIK buses, which are marked with a green sticker, which will be assigned to FlixBus passengers,” he said.
According to him, to date, the FlixBus network connects 16 cities of Ukraine from 12 regions with 48 cities in Europe (six countries).

BUS CARRIER FLIXBUS STARTS ROUTES TO WARSAW AND POLISH RADOM

Bus operator FlixBus launches trips on the route Kyiv-Warsaw, with stops in Zhytomyr, Rivne and Radom (Poland). According to the press service of the carrier, Kyiv-Warsaw buses depart from Kyiv at 16:00 on Wednesday and Saturday from the bus station Kyiv (32 Symona Petliury Street), at 15:30 on Tuesdays from Warsaw from the bus station Warszawa Zachodnia.
The company notes that all FlixBus lines have increased safety and hygiene standards. In particular, one must wear a protective mask in the bus, covering the nose and the mouth, and buses are disinfected in a professional way after each trip.
The carrier also reminds its customers to carefully check the rules of entry into the destination country.
In total, 11 FlixBus lines are currently operating in Ukraine: nine international (Odesa-Prague- Plzeň, Kyiv-Krakow-Prague, Kyiv-Warsaw, Kyiv-Vilnius, Kyiv-Krakow-Rostock, Kyiv-Cologne, Kyiv-Karlsruhe, Kyiv- Stuttgart, Kyiv-Budapest-Vienna) and three internal ones (Kyiv-Odesa-Zatoka, Kyiv-Lviv, Kyiv-Uzhgorod).
