Event “World, Continental and Olympic Football Champions” took place in Kyiv and raised funds for Health of Ukrainian People Foundation

Pepper’s Club hosted the event “FOOTBALL WORLD, CONTINENT AND OLYMPIC GAMES CHAMPIONS” in honor of the national teams of Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Qatar and Côte d’Ivoire for winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Copa America 2024, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the UEFA European Cup 2024, the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023, the Asian Cup 2023, and the African Cup of Nations 2023.
The event was co-organized and hosted by Pavlo Shilko, a well-known Ukrainian presenter, musician and philanthropist, widely known as DJ Pasha.
About 100 guests enjoyed a wonderful show by the world-famous musician Princess Amuti Binaisa, who performed stunningly together with the Ukrainian band Kazka Band.
The event was also held to raise funds for the International Charitable Foundation “Health of the Ukrainian People” and its #SaveAnImmediateLimb program.
Among the attendees were MPs, Ukrainian government officials, foreign ambassadors and representatives of the most prestigious local institutions. In addition to an incredible show by Princess Amuti Binaisa, they had the opportunity to enjoy traditional Argentine empanadas and Malbec wine.
The event was organized with the support of the Directorate General of Services for Diplomatic Missions and Pepper’s Club.

UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM DEFEATED IRELAND IN UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE

The national football team of Ukraine beat the national team of Ireland in the opening match of the UEFA Nations League, Suspilne reports.
“The Ukrainian national football team started with a victory in the first match of the League of Nations. The Ukrainians beat the team of Ireland with a minimum score of 1:0,” reads a message published on the website on Thursday night.
However, “the Ukrainians failed to take the lead in the group.” According to the results of the standings, Scotland is in the lead.

UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM LOST TO WALES AND FAILED TO WIN TICKET TO WORLD CUP IN QATAR

The national football team of Ukraine lost to the Wales team 1:0 and failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in November-December.

The Wales team scored the only goal at the Cardiff City stadium in the 34th minute, when Andriy Yarmolenko cut the ball in his own net after a free kick by Garrit Bale.

UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM BEATS SCOTLAND AND WILL COMPETE WITH WALES FOR TICKET TO 2022 WORLD CUP

The national football team of Ukraine beat Scotland in Glasgow with a score of 3-1 and will now play with Wales in the playoff final for a ticket to the 2022 World Cup.

Goals in the Ukrainian national team were scored by Andriy Yarmolenko (33 minutes), Roman Yaremchuk (49th) and Artem Dovbyk (90+4). The Scots scored Callum McGregor.

The game for the right to speak at the World Cup in Qatar will be held on June 5 in Cardiff.

The World Cup will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022

ITALIAN FOOTBALL CLUB GENOA FIRES SHEVCHENKO

The Italian football club Genoa has announced the resignation of the ex-coach of the Ukrainian national football team, Andriy Shevchenko.
“The Genoa Football Club announces the dismissal of coach Andriy Shevchenko from the post. The club thanks the coach and his staff for the hard work they have done in recent months,” the club’s press service reports.
The technical leadership of the team will be temporarily entrusted to Abdoulay Konko, who will be assisted by Roberto Murgita.
As reported, Shevchenko headed the Italian Serie A club Genoa in November 2021. The contract was signed until June 30, 2024.

UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM BEATS BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

The Ukrainian national football team has beaten Bosnia and Herzegovina 2:0 away in the last qualifying group match, and got the opportunity to play in the playoffs for reaching the final of the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in November-December 2022.The first goal in the 58th minute was scored by Oleksandr Zinchenko with a pass from Viktor Tsyhankov, the second – in the 79th minute by Artem Dovbyk, who was led one on one with goalkeeper by Mykola Shaparenko.Before the last round, the fate of a path to the playoffs largely depended on the outcome of the Finland-France match, but the home team also lost 0:2, allowing Ukraine to enter the play-offs with 12 points from second place in the group.
