FOOTBALL MATCHES ALLOWED IN UKRAINIAN CAPITAL WITH PARTIAL INVOLVEMENT OF FANS

The city of Kyiv agreed with the proposal of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) (UAF) regarding holding international matches under the auspices of UEFA with partial involvement of fans of up to 30% of the stadium capacity, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration has reported.
According to the relevant excerpts from protocol No. 64 of the meeting of the emergency response team dated October 2, 2020, posted on the administration’s website, subject to strict observance of anti-epidemic requirements and rules, partial attraction of fans to the following matches is allowed:
– October 9 – Kyiv, Obolon Arena stadium – a match of the qualifying round of the European Championship among youth teams between the national teams of Ukraine and Romania;
– October 10 – Kyiv, Olympiysky stadium – the UEFA Nations League match between the national teams of Ukraine and Germany;
– 13 October – Kyiv, Olympiysky stadium – the UEFA Nations League match between the national teams of Ukraine and Spain.

UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM BEATS SWITZERLAND

The Ukrainian national football team has beaten Switzerland with a score of 2:1 in the first match of group four of the elite division A of the UEFA Nations League.
In the 14th minute, Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring in the match in Lviv. In the 41st minute, Haris Seferovic equalized the score. In the 68th minute, Oleksandr Zinchenko brought victory to Ukraine.
In another match of this group, Germany and Spain tied the game with 1:1 score.

UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM BEATS ESTONIA

The Ukrainian national football team has defeated the Estonian team in a friendly match with a score of 1:0. The meeting took place in Zaporizhia on Thursday evening.
The only goal was scored by the Belgian Gent midfielder Roman Bezus in the last seconds of added time by a free kick and a rebound from ex-football player of the Lviv Carpathians Serhiy Zenev.

UKRAINE’S NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM WINS 2:0 LITHUANIAN TEAM

Ukraine’s national football team won 2:0 in a match of the EUFA Euro 2020 qualifiers with the Lithuanian team in Kharkiv.
The 29-minute and 58-minute brace of Ukrainian football player Ruslan Malinovsky, who is now midfielder in Italy’s Atalanta, brought victory for Ukraine.
Portugal’s team defeated Luxembourg 3:0 in other match of Group B.
Ukraine is the leader in its group with 16 score in six matches. Portugal and Serbia have 11 and 7 scores respectively in five matches.
Ukraine will host Portugal in Kyiv on October 14.

SINGLE REPRESENTATIVE OF UKRAINE IN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WILL BE FC SHAKHTAR

Dynamo Kyiv Football Club could not defeat Amsterdam Ajax in the final round of the Champions League qualification. After the defeat in Amsterdam a week ago with a score of 1:3, the Ukrainian team played with Ajax in a draw at the home match.
Thus, the sum of two matches in the group stage of the Champions League is Ajax, and Dynamo will play in the group tournament of the Europe League.
The only representative of Ukraine in the Champions League will be Shakhtar. Vorskla will definitely play in the Europe League. Zaria competes for another ticket to the LE in the German Leipzig on Thursday.
