In 2020, Ukrainian agricultural producers harvested 65.4 million tonnes of cereals and legumes from an area of 15.3 million hectares. The operational data of the regions on the results of the harvesting campaign was announced on Tuesday by Minister of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko.
According to a report on the ministry’s website, in particular, 25.1 million tonnes of wheat from 6.6 million hectares and 29.8 million tonnes of corn from 5.3 million hectares were harvested.
According to the State Statistics Service, in 2019 Ukraine harvested 75.1 million tonnes of cereals and legumes (70.1 million tonnes in 2018), of which 28.3 million tonnes of wheat (24.6 million tonnes) and 35.9 million tonnes of corn (35.8 million tonnes a year earlier).
Since the beginning of the new 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June) and as of December 7, Ukraine has exported 22.3 million tonnes of grains and legumes, which is 4 million tonnes less than on the same date of the last MY.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, to date, 12.1 million tonnes of wheat (-1.7 million tonnes), 3.71 million tonnes of barley (+ 0.14 million tonnes) and 6.12 million tonnes of corn ( -2.48 million tonnes) have been exported.
As of December 7 of this year, 70,500 tonnes of flour were also exported.
As reported, Ukraine exported a record 57.2 million tonnes of cereals, legumes and flour in 2019/2020 MY, which is 13.5% more than in the previous MY.
Since the beginning of the new 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June) and as of December 4, Ukraine has exported 22.12 million tonnes of cereals and legumes, which is 3.4 million tonnes less than on the same date last MY.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, 12.02 million tonnes of wheat (-1.6 million tonnes), 3.71 million tonnes of barley (+0.2 million tonnes) and 6.03 million tonnes of corn (-2.1 million tonnes) have been exported to date.
As of December 4 of this year, 70,300 tonnes of flour were also exported.

As of November 30, Ukrainian agricultural producers harvested 80.9 million tonnes of basic crops from an area of 23.8 million hectares, in particular, 62.5 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops were harvested from an area of about 15 million hectares (98% of the forecast).
According to a report on the website of the Ministry of Economy, the following crops were harvested: corn – 26.8 million tonnes from an area of 5.1 million hectares (94%), soybeans – 2.8 million tonnes from 1.3 million hectares (99%), sugar beet – 9 million tonnes from an area of 212,200 hectares (98%).
Ukraine since the beginning of the new 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June) and as of November 23 had exported 20.17 million tonnes of grain and legumes, which is 3.2 million tonnes less than on the same date last MY.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, to date, 11.63 million tonnes of wheat (less by 1.4 million tonnes), 3.69 million tonnes of barley (up by 230,000 tonnes) and 4.5 million tonnes of corn (down by 2.1 million tonnes) were exported.
As of November 23 of this year, 66,600 tonnes of flour were also exported.

As of November 19, Ukrainian agricultural producers harvested 78.5 million tonnes of basic crops from an area of 23.4 million hectares, in particular, 60.3 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops were harvested from an area of about 14.6 million hectares (95% forecast).
According to a report on the website of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, 24.5 million tonnes of corn was harvested from an area of 4.7 million hectares (86%), 13 million tonnes of sunflower from 6.4 million hectares (100%), 2.7 million tonnes of soybeans from 1.3 million hectares (97%), 243,700 tonnes of millet from 150,300 hectares (100%) and 105,600 tonnes of buckwheat from 78,400 hectares (100%).
Some 8.1 million tonnes of sugar beet was dug from an area of 190,700 hectares (88%).
As reported, the Economy Ministry predicted the grain harvest in 2020 at 68 million tonnes. Of the early grains, the following have already been threshed: 25.1 million tonnes of wheat from an area of 6.6 million hectares; 7.8 million tonnes of barley from 2.4 million hectares; 516,200 tonnes of peas from 238,000 hectares; 2.56 million tonnes of rapeseed from 1.1 million hectares.
