The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair (Dublin) opened ticket sales for the Kyiv-Venice route from March 30, 2021.
The airline’s booking system notes that the flights will be operated by a subsidiary of Malta Air to Treviso airport twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Departure from Venice is scheduled at 7:15 a.m. with arrival in Kyiv at 10:40 a.m. The return flight from Kyiv is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. with an arrival in Venice at 12:40 p.m..
As reported, in July 2020 Ryanair announced 16 new destinations between Ukraine and Italy as part of the schedule for winter 2020 and summer 2021.
To date, Ryanair’s announced route network from Ukraine to Italy includes 19 routes, including six from Kyiv to Bologna, Catania, Bergamo, Naples, Rome and Venice, with these flights delayed until spring 2021.

The flights will be operated twice a week as part of Ryanair’s winter 2020 schedule, the airline’s press service said on Friday.
“We are delighted to start operating flights Odesa-Dusseldorf Weeze. This flight will connect Odesa and western Germany, in addition, Weeze airport is located in close proximity to the Netherlands. Thus, our passengers, besides Dusseldorf, have received an opportunity to conveniently plan their trips to Duisburg, Essen, Dortmund and Cologne, as well as to the neighboring cities of the Netherlands,” commercial director of Odesa International Airport Vyacheslav Chehlatonev said quoted by the airline’s press service.

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair (Dublin) has announced the launch of two new flights from Kyiv to Cologne and from Odesa to Dusseldorf as part of its winter schedule.
According to the airline’s posting on Friday, both flights will be operated twice a week as part of the Ryanair Ukraine Winter 2020 schedule, which the airline continues to expand.
Flights from Kyiv to Cologne will be operated from October 26 to Mondays and Fridays in both directions.
Flights from Odesa to Dusseldorf will be operated from November 6 to Mondays and Fridays in both directions.
The Irish low cost airline Ryanair (Dublin) has asked the passengers before a trip to confirm that they got acquainted with the restrictions introduced in the destination country. “During an online check-in, passengers are directed to the ‘Ryanair COVID-19 travel restrictions page’ where they must confirm that they are familiar with the existing restrictions before receiving a boarding pass,” Interfax-Ukraine was told in Ryanair on Tuesday.
Moreover, the airlines reported that before the trip the passengers were asked to fill and provide additional travel documents.Ryanair advises customers before flying to check the latest travel restrictions and requirements in a particular country.
“The 12 passengers of the Ryanair flight Kyiv-Athens (July 4) were denied entry to Athens in accordance with the current restrictions of the Greek government for non-EU citizens. Affected customers were rebooked for the next available flight to Kyiv,” the airlines said.
As reported, the group of 17 Ukrainians who were not allowed into Greece on Saturday, July 4, are to return to Ukraine on Tuesday, said Head of the Consular Service Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Serhiy Pohoreltsev.
The Irish low cost airline Ryanair (Dublin) has announced the resumption of more than 20 flights to/from Ukraine from July 1 as part of the company’s summer schedule for 2020. According to the company’s press service, some selected routes will be available from the last week of June.

This is also an opportunity for customers whose spring flights were canceled due to travel restrictions because of coronavirus and who want to redeem their Ryanair vouchers,” Olga Pawlonka, the company’s sales and marketing manager for Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans, said.
Earlier, Ryanair announced plans to resume 40% of all its flights from July 1, which will cover approximately 90% of the route network that operated before the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Irish Ryanair Holdings Plc, Europe’s largest air low-cost carrier, is intended to resume flights from Ukraine to Italy starting from July 6, Ryanair Ukraine reported on Telegram.
“The largest Europe’s low-cost Ryanair planned opening of the regular flights from Ukraine to Italy in July,” reads a report.
In particular, Ryanair will operate flights from Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Odesa.
Thus, starting from July 6, the airline plans to resume flights Kyiv-Rome, Kyiv-Milan (Bergamo), Lviv-Bologna, Kharkiv-Milan (Bergamo), Odesa-Bologna, Odesa-Milan (Bergamo).
Starting from July 7, Ryanair plans to launch flights on the route Kyiv-Bologna, Kyiv-Catania, Lviv-Milan (Bergamo).
From July 8, the resumption of flights Lviv-Rome and Odesa-Rome is expected.
It was reported that the prices started from EUR 40 for one-way ticket. The tickets for purchase are available in the reservation system on the carrier’s website.
