Dobrobut Medical Network has opened a new outpatient clinic in the building of the former Slavutych Hotel on the left bank of Kiev.
According to the network press release, the area of the medical center is 1150 sq. m, the clinic is designed for 300-400 patients per day.
The new medical center provides a full range of outpatient services for children and adults, and also has enhanced expertise in pediatrics and prenatal diagnosis in gynecology. In particular, the prenatal diagnostics department is equipped with a state-of-the-art Voluson SWIFT machine with integrated artificial intelligence with a real-time 3D-scanning option.
“Dobrobut is one of Ukraine’s largest private medical networks. The network includes 17 medical centers in Kiev and Kiev region, emergency service, dentistry and pharmacies. Network medical centers provide services to children and adults in more than 75 medical fields. Annually experts of “Dobrobut” carry out more than 7000 operations. The network has over 2800 employees.
The network collaborates with a number of international charitable organizations such as Direct Relief International, Children of War Foundation, International Medical Corps and University of Miami Global Institute. According to the company, thanks to the work of Direct Relief International and the Dobrobut Foundation, wounded war veterans and people stranded by war are able to receive free care at the Dobrobut Treatment and Diagnostic Center.
According to the company, Dobrobut has become the first private medical network in Ukraine to receive funding from the U.S. federal government: with support from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the company will build a modern physical rehabilitation center.

The flooding in Kiev has receded, in particular, compared to yesterday’s day, the water level has decreased by another 5 centimeters, the Kiev city military administration said.
“All week the flood is going to recede. But still held waterlogging floodplains and low areas of garden-garden development, homestead plots. Emergency flooding in the city of Kiev has not been recorded,” wrote the head of the KGVA Sergey Popko in the telegram channel on Sunday.

The Main Special Control Center of the State Space Agency of Ukraine called the flash over Kiev on Wednesday night a “high-energy acoustic event” and suggested that a meteorite had fallen.
“On April 19, 2023 at 21:57 Kiev time by infrasound means of the SCSC on the territory of Ukraine recorded a high-energy acoustic event. The calculated place of the epicenter of the explosion is in the Kiev region,” – said in a message on the page of the Center in Facebook.
Scientists suggested that the event is associated with the entry of a space body in the dense layers of the atmosphere. The Center added that the information is being clarified.
The Kiev City Military Administration (KCMA) explained yesterday’s report about the probable fall of an American satellite by seeking to calm residents and guests of the capital agitated by a bright glow of incomprehensible origin.
“A very bright glow from the fall of an unknown object caused excitement and anxiety among Kiev residents. To reassure residents and guests of the capital, the Kiev city military administration released information about the probable fall of an American satellite and marked “preliminary information,” said in a statement by KGVA chief Sergei Popko in a telegram channel on Thursday.
Around 22:00 hours on April 19, an unknown air object was recorded falling in the sky within Kiev. “After checking and clarification, the information about the probable use of enemy aircraft or air strike with missile weapons was not confirmed,” the report said.
However, as noted, “at the time there was no data or warnings of a possible re-entry of a significant-sized space body into the Earth’s atmosphere from any global aerospace agency or astronomical observatory. However, there was a warning from NASA about their space satellite falling to Earth. Now, after an official statement from NASA, we can give clarified information – it was not their satellite.”
“What exactly it was – it is up to specialists to find out. But the most important thing is the safety of Kiev and the calmness of the people of Kiev. It was not a rocket attack, our air defense did not use available weapons,” Popko concluded.
The peak of the spring floods in the capital is expected by the end of April, tentatively – on April 22, the press service of the Kiev state city administration said.
“According to the Ukrhydrometeocenter, the peak of the spring floods in Kiev is tentatively expected on April 22,” said in a message in the Telegram channel on Monday.
It is noted that in the capital there is waterlogging of the territories of the island of Muromets Park, Gidropark, Trukhanov Island, Galerny Bay, Korchevatoe, private areas in the area of Osokorki.
The water level in 2023 is 0,5-1 m higher than last year.
The main reason for the floods is the spring flooding and regular precipitation in recent times, which led to an increase in water in the rivers.
“In addition, the level of the Dnieper in Kiev has always been regulated by the cascade of Dnieper hydropower plants. Unfortunately, to date, Kakhovskaya HPP does not work in full technological mode, so the other dams are trying to adjust this situation,” – noted in the message.
According to Ukrhydrometocenter, as of 12:00 on Monday, the water level in the Dnieper is 9,359 cm (the critical level – 9,415 cm) according to the Baltic system of heights.
“There is still 50-60 cm to the critical water level. We understand that the water can reach this level, so we conduct additional training of civil protection forces, rescuers and all services that may be involved in providing assistance to residents,” notes Roman Tkachuk, director of the Department of Municipal Safety of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Cases where the consequences of flooding caused damage to property or other damage to businesses will be considered in the work of the district commissions of technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies.
