Konty’s losses in 2025 increased 2.7 times to UAH 264 mln

PJSC “Production Association ”Konty” (Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region), one of the leaders in the Ukrainian confectionery market, ended 2025 with a net loss of UAH 263.93 million, which is 2.67 times more than in 2024.

According to the company’s report in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC), the issue of approving the results of operations and the procedure for covering losses has been put on the agenda of the remote general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 27. Shareholders are being offered to cover the losses for 2025 at the expense of future years’ profits.

In addition to the financial results, shareholders plan to consider a special report by the executive body on the reasons for the decrease in the company’s equity capital and approve a plan of measures to stabilize the financial condition of the enterprise.

The meeting also provides for the re-election of the supervisory board. In particular, it is planned to terminate the powers of the current members of the supervisory board, A. Dyumin, S. Kolomiets, and S. Lisenkov, with the subsequent election of a new composition by cumulative voting. The draft decision states that the members of the supervisory board will work on a pro bono basis.

According to data from the Opendatabot service, the company’s revenue in 2025 (forecast) will amount to UAH 200.01 million, which is 26.8% less than in 2024 (UAH 273.26 million). The net loss for 2024 amounted to UAH 98.58 million, which is 6.8 times less than the negative indicator for 2023 (UAH 672.16 million). The company’s debt obligations in 2024 decreased slightly to UAH 1.604 billion, compared to UAH 1.613 billion a year earlier. At the same time, the company’s assets for the reporting period decreased by 25.9% to UAH 337.68 million compared to UAH 455.86 million in 2023. Updated data is currently unavailable in the system. PJSC “Production Association ”Konty” was founded on October 22, 1997, in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. It specializes in the production of cocoa, chocolate, and sugar confectionery, as well as flour confectionery and long-term storage cakes. The product range includes about 200 items, among which the key brands are Super Kontik, Bonjour KONTI, Timi, Amour, BiSKonti, and Jack.

The ultimate beneficiaries of the company are Boris and Svetlana Kolesnikov (each owning 24.99% of the shares). Other shareholders with large stakes include: Serhiy Kiy (9.99%), Vyacheslav Lyashko (9.99%), Yucher LLC (9.99%), Raisa Taktasheva (7.49%), and Tetiana Akhmetova-Aidarova (6.99%).

Confectionery company Konti reduced its loss by 6.8 times in 2024

PJSC Production Association Konti, one of the leaders in the Ukrainian confectionery market, ended 2024 with a loss of UAH 98.58 million, which is 6.8 times less than in 2023, according to the agenda of the general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 15.

According to the published information, the shareholders plan to cover the losses at the expense of future years’ profits.

The shareholders are proposed to take into account, among other things, the conclusions of the audit report for 2024, the report of the executive body on the results of the reduction of the company’s equity capital, and to approve an action plan to improve the financial condition of the company.

According to the Opendatabot service, in 2024, PJSC PAO Conti’s revenue decreased by 29.6% to UAH 273.259 million, while its debt obligations decreased by 0.6% to UAH 1.604 billion. Assets depreciated from UAH 455.855 million to UAH 337.676 million. The number of employees decreased by 82 people to 182. The authorized capital of the company is UAH 54.052 million.

The company’s beneficiaries are Boris and Svetlana Kolesnikov, who own 24.99% of the shares. Among the shareholders with large stakes are Tatyana Akhmetova-Aydarova (6.9%), Sergey Kiy (9.9%), Vyacheslav Lyashko (9.9%), Raisa Tactasheva (7.4%), and Yucher LLC (9.9%).

The company’s assortment includes about 200 product names, including: sandwich cookies, complex desserts, boxed and weighted candies, sponge cake, rolls, bars, caramel, crackers and cookies. It is sold in all regions of Ukraine and exported to more than 10 countries, including the USA, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Greece, Iraq, Georgia, Estonia, Moldova, etc.

CONFECTIONERY COMPANY KONTI TO BUILD NEW CHOCOLATE FACTORY IN UKRAINE

Owner of one of Ukraine’s largest confectionery companies PJSC Production Association Konti (Donetsk region) Borys Kolesnikov plans to build a chocolate factory in the center of Ukraine. “We are thinking about expanding the range of both APK-Invest and Konti, and we want to build a large chocolate factory for Konti in the center of Ukraine, and several other APK-Invest production facilities, some of which will be unique for our country. I will not disclose details yet. As the construction is over, you’re invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony,” the owner of the companies said in an interview with Radio NV.
As reported, PrJSC APK-Invest (Donetsk region), one of the largest pork producers in Ukraine, plans to increase pig population by 75%, to one million pigs. The company also intends to introduce several new technologies in agriculture, which are widely used in Western Europe and the United States, but are new not only for Ukraine, but also for many countries of Eastern Europe. APK-Invest (TM Myasna Vesna) is a vertically integrated agro-industrial company with a complete closed cycle for the production of chilled pork: from growing grain and making compound feeds to producing and selling meat products.
In 2017, APK-Invest increased its net profit by 3.5 times to UAH 889.1 million, net income by 37.9%, to UAH 2.664 billion.
According to the National Securities and Stock Market Commission’s information disclosure system, the direct owner of 98% of the PrJSC’s shares at the end of 2017 was Ukrinvest LLC, the beneficiaries of APK-Invest, according to the state register, are Borys Kolesnikov and his wife Svitlana. The Konti Group was founded in 1997. The main production assets are Donetsk, Kostiantynivka, Horlivka confectionery factories (Ukraine) and two factories in Kursk (Russia). The main brands are Bonjour desserts, SuperKontik and Belissimo cookies, BisKonti soft biscuits, Amour and Jack sweets.
