President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a telephone conversation with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva, discussed the progress towards the adoption of the state budget of Ukraine for 2021, the preservation of the anti-corruption agenda and macroeconomic stability in the country.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) has decided to terminate the activities of structural divisions in Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Germany and Austria due to staff reductions.
This decision was made in connection with the reduction of the staff of UIA and the reduction in costs for representative offices, the company said in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
In particular, the UIA Supervisory Board decided to terminate the activities of UIA structural divisions in the Swiss Confederation, in the Kingdom of Spain, in the Italian Republic, in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the Republic of Austria.
As reported, UIA ceased operations of its divisions in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus in September.

According to the press service of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), with reference to its deputy head Oleksandr Hustelev, the existing snow-clearing equipment was checked, deicing materials were prepared.
“We have 36 units of snow removal equipment, which will be used to combat snow and icing. Anti-ice treatment is almost the most important component of aviation safety. To prevent ice formation on the fuselage, surface and tail of the aircraft, deicers are used – a technique for treating aircraft with liquid from ice, installations for heating the aircraft and attachments,” he said.
According to him, 70 tonnes of granular and 88 cubic meters of liquid anti-ice reagent were prepared to combat ground icing on all types of airfield pavements. The equipment of boiler houses, heating and power grids is completely ready. In addition, the lighting equipment was repaired and prepared for operation in winter.
The airport fleet has a runway friction meter, sand and liquid chemical applicators, snow and wind machines, as well as garbage trucks and tractors, bulldozers, graders, loaders.
Over the past few years, the airport has acquired five new units of snow removal machinery.
Passenger traffic at Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport in January-September 2020 amounted to 600,600 passengers, which is 70.1% less than in the same period in 2019.
According to the airport’s website, the number of passengers served on international flights amounted to 589,500, on domestic flights some 11,100.
The number of flights in January-September 2020 amounted to 9,800 for arrivals and departures, which is 53.9% less than the same period in 2019, of which international flights amounted to 7,820, domestic to 1,980.
The most popular international destinations since the beginning of 2020 are Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), London (the UK), Memmingen and Dortmund (Germany), and domestic are Zaporizhia, Dnipro and Odesa.
In September 2020, the airport served 51,100 passengers, which is 66.8% less than in September 2019. The number of passengers served on international flights is 49,100, on domestic flights some 2,000 passengers.
The number of flights in September 2020 amounted to 1,285 for arrival and departure, which is 19.7% less than in the same period in 2019, of which 945 international flights, and 340 domestic flights.
