Parking space in new building in Kyiv cost average of $27,700 in May – DIM.RIA

The average cost of a parking space in a new building in Kyiv in May 2026 was $27,700, which is 18% higher than in May 2025, according to data from the verified real estate marketplace DIM.RIA.

According to a DIM.RIA analytical report, the cost of parking spaces in new buildings varies significantly by region. They remain the most expensive in Kyiv, while among major cities, lower average prices were recorded in Odesa ($20,700), Dnipro ($19,200), and Lviv ($18,600).

The lowest average cost of parking spaces in May 2026 was in Volyn Oblast—nearly $4,900—and in Sumy Oblast—$3,300.

According to DIM.RIA, demand for parking spaces in new developments in May 2026 generally increased compared to May of last year. The largest increase in interest was recorded in the Mykolaiv region—by 194%, the Cherkasy region—by 129%, the Ivano-Frankivsk region—by 126%, the Ternopil region—by 102%, and the Chernivtsi region—by 100%.

At the same time, a decline in demand for parking spaces in new buildings was observed in the Kirovohrad region—by 62%, the Chernihiv region—by 57%, the Sumy region—by 47%, and the Zakarpattia region—by 34%.

The number of parking space listings in new buildings has not changed significantly over the year. A slight increase in the number of listings was recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, and Khmelnytskyi regions—by 3%—as well as in Vinnytsia region—by 2%. At the same time, supply decreased in Dnipropetrovsk region—by 4%—and in Kyiv—by 1%.

DIM.RIA analysts also compared the dynamics of parking space prices with housing prices in new buildings. Over the year, the price per square meter in new buildings rose the most in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast—by 20%, in Zhytomyr and Ternopil Oblasts—by 18%, and in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Kirovohrad Oblasts—by 14%.

A decline in prices per square meter in new buildings was recorded in the Mykolaiv region—by 6%, and in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions—by 3%.

The largest living area per average cost of a parking space could be purchased in the Odesa region—21.5 sq. m, Kyiv—19.4 sq. m, the Cherkasy region—18.2 sq. m, the Dnipropetrovsk region—17.2 sq. m, and the Kyiv region—16.8 sq. m.
