Ukraine in January-September 2020 imported 5.793 million tonnes of petroleum products (according to foreign trade activity code 2710, petrol, diesel fuel, fuel oil, jet fuel, etc.), which is 4.3% less than in the same period of 2019.
According to the State Fiscal Service, petroleum products were imported in the amount of $2.5 billion, which is 34.6% less than in January-September 2019.
Fuel imports from Russia amounted to $940.081 million (a share of 37.6%), Belarus to $842.578 million (33.7%), Lithuania to $302.246 million (12.09%), from other countries to $415.427 million (16.61%).
In addition, in January-September 2020, Ukraine exported 258,880 tonnes (42.5% less compared to January-September 2019) of petroleum products for a total amount of $105.332 million (51.2% less). The cost of fuel delivered to contractors from Latvia amounted to $20.289 million, Hungary some $10.165 million, Romania some $9.008 million, and from other countries some $65.859 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, petroleum products were imported in the amount of $371.751 million, which is 12.6% less than in January 2019.
Fuel imports from Russia amounted to $147.083 million (a share of 39.56%), Belarus to $135.742 million (36.51%), Lithuania to $50.011 million (13.45%), from other countries to $38.915 million (10.47%).
In addition, in January 2020, Ukraine exported 27,223 tonnes (46.5% less compared to January 2019) of petroleum products for a total amount of $15.698 million (23.5% less). The cost of fuel delivered to contractors from Latvia amounted to $3.781 million, Hungary some $2.09 million, Ireland some $1.24 million, and from other countries some $8.587 million.
Ukraine in January-November 2019 imported 7.676 million tonnes of petroleum products (according to foreign trade activity code 2710, petrol, diesel fuel, fuel oil, jet fuel, etc.), which is 3.6% more than in the same period of 2018.
According to the State Fiscal Service, petroleum products were imported in the amount of $4.844 billion, which is 4.9% less than in January-November 2018.
Fuel imports from Belarus amounted to $1.849 billion (a share of 38.17%), Russia to $1.708 billion (35.27%), Lithuania to $556.498 million (11.49%), from other countries to $730.585 million (15.08%).
In addition, in the 11 months, Ukraine exported 498,915 tonnes (21.6% more compared to January-November 2018) of petroleum products for a total amount of $247.255 million (up by 6.5%). The cost of fuel delivered to contractors from Greece amounted to $53.646 million, Latvia some $31.914 million, Hungary some $28.333 million, and from other countries some $133.362 million.
Ukraine in January-June 2019 imported 3.869 million tonnes of petroleum products (HS code 2710 – petrol, diesel, fuel oil, jet fuel, etc.), which is 13.2% more than in the same period of 2018.
According to the State Fiscal Service, oil products were imported for $2.454 billion, which is 10.4% more than in January-June 2018 ($2.224 billion).
Fuel imports from the Russian Federation amounted to $1.053 billion (a 42.92% share), Belarus to $883.04 million (35.98%), Lithuania to $265.12 million (10.8%), other countries to $252.743 million (10.3%).
In addition, in January-June 2019, Ukraine exported 319,490 tonnes (42.2% up from January-June 2018) of oil products for a total of $148.11 million (a rise of 23.4%). The cost of fuel supplied to counterparties from Greece was $46.65 million, Latvia $19.309 million, Hungary some $13.904 million, other countries some $68.246 million.

Fuel imports from the Russian Federation amounted to $842.143 million (a 41.3% share), Belarus to $775.058 million (38.01%), Lithuania to $223.217 million (10.95%), other countries to $198.688 million (9.74%).
In addition, in January-May 2019, Ukraine exported 295,850 tonnes (45.1% up from January-May 2018) of oil products for a total of $132.966 million (a rise of 27.9%). The cost of fuel supplied to counterparties from Greece was $45.016 million, Latvia $15.785 million, Malta some $13.739 million, other countries some $58.426 million.
