Main registration period for participation in multi-subject test will end tomorrow

The main registration period for participation in the National Multisubject Test (NMT) for applicants ends on April 11, the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality (UCQA) reports.

“April 11 is the last day of registration for the National Multisubject Test (NMT). Therefore, we advise potential applicants not to delay,” the press service of the UCEQA said in a statement.

It is noted that until April 15, in the personal account, the applicant will be able to change the subject of the additional block, in which he wants to take the test, the settlement in Ukraine or abroad, where he will be on the days of the NMT, or indicate the need to take the NMT at an additional session.

As reported, the NMT in 2024 will include three compulsory subjects (Ukrainian language, mathematics and history of Ukraine in the 16-21st centuries) and one subject of the applicant’s choice (foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish), biology, physics and chemistry, Ukrainian literature and geography). Testing will take place during the main (May 14 – June 25) and additional sessions (July 11-19).

The NMT will be held outside of Ukraine at temporary examination centers in 57 cities in 32 countries.

Registration for national multi-subject test has started in Ukraine

In Ukraine started registration for the national multi-subject test (NMT) in 2024.

“From today begins registration for participation in the national multi-subject test (NMT). It will last until April 11 inclusive. This year the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment conducts registration in paperless form,” – stated in the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science.

It is noted that with the help of a special service enrollees need to independently create a personal account and perform a number of actions in it.

In particular, it is necessary to: specify registration data (contact information, category “graduate of the current year” or “graduate of previous years”, to indicate the need for special (special) conditions, to choose from the proposed list of subjects to choose from and the locality in Ukraine or abroad, where it is planned to take NMT, as well as the language of passing subjects of certification work); download scans or photocopies of registration documents; send the entered information and copies of documents for processing in the regional center for quality assessment

Registration of used cars imported from abroad in July increased by 9%

Primary registrations of used passenger cars imported from abroad in July increased by almost 9% compared to June-2023 – up to 18.8 thousand units, which was the highest number of registrations per month for the last 11 months, the association “Ukravtoprom” reported in the Telegram channel.

As reported, the demand for new passenger cars in July turned to negative dynamics, having decreased by 5% by June-2023, to 5.3 thousand units.

According to the association, the largest share in the segment of imported used foreign cars still belongs to gasoline cars – 44% (in June – 43%), followed by diesel cars – 33% (35%), electric cars – 15% (14%), cars with HBO – 5% (no change) and hybrids – 3% (3%).

The average age of used cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates in June is 10 years (10.5% in June).

Volkswagen Golf remains the leader of July registrations (1616 units), followed by Renault Megane (1234 units) and Skoda Octavia (929 units).

The top 10 in this market also include Volkswagen Passat, 741 units; Nissan Leaf, 535 units; Ford Focus, 400 units; Volkswagen Touran, 384 units; Nissan Qashqai, 377 units; Volkswagen Tiguan, 377 units and AUDI A4, 369 units.

In total, in January-July, 106 thousand used cars imported from abroad were first registered in Ukraine, which is 3.3 times more than the sales of new cars in the same period last year.

As reported, Ukrainians in 2022 registered 388.5 thousand imported used cars, which is almost a quarter less than a year earlier, but more than 10 times more than the market for new cars.

UKRAINIAN PARLIAMENT ADOPTS LAW ON STATE REGISTRATION OF HUMAN GENOMIC INFORMATION

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a law on state registration of human genomic information.

The adoption of the relevant bill No. 4265 was generally supported by 256 people’s deputies at the plenary session on Saturday, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Holos faction, said on his Telegram channel.

The document provides for the regulation of both mandatory state and voluntary registration of human genomic information.

The law clearly defines the categories of persons subject to mandatory registration. We are talking about persons brought to criminal responsibility for committing intentional crimes against life, health, sexual freedom, sexual inviolability of a person, in respect of which a measure of restraint has been chosen; on persons who have committed crimes against life, health, sexual freedom, sexual inviolability of a person, to whom medical measures have been applied by a court decision.

The norms of the law also apply to persons convicted of committing intentional crimes against life, health, sexual freedom, sexual inviolability of the person; convicted and serving a sentence of imprisonment or having an unexpunged or outstanding conviction for committing grave or especially grave crimes, as well as all categories of crimes against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability.

In addition, unidentified corpses, missing persons, as well as close relatives of missing persons are subject to mandatory registration.

IN UKRAINE, INITIAL REGISTRATION OF PASSENGER ELECTRIC CARS JUMPED BY 65%, SALES LEADER IS NISSAN LEAF

Primary registrations of electric vehicles (new and used) in Ukraine in June 2022 amounted to 1,055 units, including cars – 958 units, which is 65% more than in June 2021, the Ukravtoprom Association reports. Commercial vehicles registered 97 units. – 2.7 times more than in June 2021.
At the same time, in registrations of passenger electric vehicles, the share of new ones increased to 14% compared to 10% a year earlier, but in commercial registrations, as in June last year, only two cars were new.
The market leader in all-electric cars was once again the Nissan Leaf with 196 registrations, the second most popular was the Volkswagen ID.4 with a score of 72 cars, and the third place was the Volkswagen e-Golf with 70 units.
The fourth result belongs to TESLA Model 3 – 58 units, and the TOP-5 of June is closed by Renault Zoe, which has 57 registered cars.
According to the association, in January-June 2022, 4,145 thousand electric vehicles were registered, which is 14% more than in the first half of 2021.
As reported, in 2021, 8,872 electric vehicles were registered in Ukraine for the first time, which is 19% more than a year earlier, the share of new cars increased to 14% compared to 9%.

CABINET OF MINISTERS ALLOCATED ADDITIONAL UAH 2.3 BLN FOR “AFFORDABLE LOANS 5-7-9”, SIMPLIFIED REGISTRATION OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY

On Tuesday, the government of Ukraine allocated an additional UAH 2.3 billion to the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 program, under which the Cabinet of Ministers compensates the interest rate, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
“We have also reformatted this program. Now every entrepreneur can get a loan at 0% in the amount of up to UAH 60 million. The state will pay the interest to the bank,” he said in his address on Tuesday evening.
Shmygal stressed that the restart and resumption of business is a necessary condition for the sustainability of the economy.
The prime minister also noted that the government is providing assistance to farmers, and the sowing campaign has already begun in all regions, except for Luhansk.
“We have provided them (agrarians) with concessional financing for UAH 3.5 billion. At today’s meeting of the government, they decided to simplify the registration of agricultural machinery as much as possible. We are doing this so that sowing work in the field does not stop anywhere,” Shmyhal said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Ministry of Finance announced that within the framework of the program “Affordable loans 5-7-9” from February 21 to April 11, 1,391 loans were issued for a total of UAH 3.95 billion.
