UKRAINIAN SKYUP CANCELS ODESA-THESSALONIKI FLIGHT DUE TO INSUFFICIENT NUMBER OF PASSENGERS

SkyUp Airlines is canceling Odesa-Thessaloniki-Odesa flight, which was opened on July 6.
The indicated direction was removed from the schedule due to insufficient number of people. At the same time, the first flights (to Thessaloniki on July 6 and back to Odesa on July 13) are being operated according to the schedule, the press service of the company informed the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
Passengers of subsequent flights that will not be operated (starting from July 13 to Thessaloniki and back from July 20 to Odesa) were offered two options at SkyUp: change the plane to Kyiv – Thessaloniki – Kyiv flight with the same departure dates; request a refund, including through the passenger’s balance in the personal account on the airline’s website. Previously, the airline company planned to operate this route once a week – on Tuesdays.

SKYUP AIRLINES STARTS FLIGHTS ON ODESSA-THESSALONIKI ROUTE

SkyUp Airlines will launch flights on the Odessa-Thessaloniki (Greece)-Odessa route from July 6.
According to the press service of the company, they will be performed once a week on Tuesdays.
There are currently no direct flights from Odessa to Thessaloniki.

184 UKRAINIAN CITIZENS STRANDED IN GREECE, BUT FLY FROM THESSALONIKI TO HOME

A total of 184 Ukrainian citizens, including 41 children, flew from Thessaloniki to Kyiv, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
“As promised, we are returning the Ukrainians who are stuck in Greece,” Kuleba wrote on his Twitter account.
The foreign minister said that two more flights will take place soon.
“Good work of our diplomats in Greece with tour operators, Greek authorities and others involved,” Kuleba wrote.
The Greek travel company Mouzenidis Travel, headquartered in Thessaloniki, has suspended services for foreign tourists, including those from Ukraine.
In this regard, the resources of the diplomatic service were mobilized to provide assistance to Ukrainian tourists in Greece. It was reported that on June 25-26, flights should take place on the routes Thessaloniki-Kyiv, Thessaloniki-Lviv and Heraklion-Kyiv, which will be able to return to Ukraine over 500 citizens.
