U.S. President Donald Trump said that he hopes an agreement between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin will be reached before the onset of the harsh winter.
“But you know what I want from Zelenskyy? I want him to make a deal. I want him to reach an agreement with Putin, and I want Putin to reach an agreement with him,” Trump said while speaking with journalists.
Asked by a journalist about Patriot missiles, Trump noted that he had spoken with Zelenskyy a lot, but did not give a specific answer to the question.
“I have spoken with him a lot; the process is moving forward, Putin is acting too, and one day — I hope in the not-too-distant future, perhaps even before the onset of the harsh winter — they will reach an agreement,” Trump emphasized.

The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution on respect for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, which also condemns Russia’s attempt to annex the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will deliver an address to the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) on Tuesday.
“Tomorrow will be a very important day – we are preparing a speech at the UN General Assembly. There will be important signals from our state,” Zelensky said in a video message on Monday.
Also, according to him, he will take part in the Food Security Summit.
“This is a fundamentally important element of global security and Ukraine, there is something to say,” the president said.
In addition, the head of state will have a series of online meetings with American partners and investors.
“We are doing everything to meet the needs of Ukraine at all levels – defense, finance, economy, diplomacy,” Zelensky added.
